after pain, now's Sasuke. Wonder what will Sasuke do when he finds Konoha in ruins...

The manga's starting to feel rushed. Sasuke's already leaving for Konoha? We don't need another major battle for a while yet. There are still various side stories to cover in the meanwhile, like Kakashi's past(which was only narrated off-panel), what happened to Minato and Kushina, what Killer Bee's doing, Sai and Anko with Kabuchimaru and so on.

Oh yeah, there was nothing about why Nagato didn't just resurrect Jiraiya or for that matter Yahiko. I have a feeling Kishi just pulled the reviving bit out of his ass.

i'm guessing that due to Konoha in ruins, it will be easier for Sasuke to infiltrate Konoha...
he might even first encounter Sakura

I think the reason he couldn't revive Jiraiya based on how Nagato spoke.

Is that there is a limit in time from the point he kills someone till the time he can revive them.

I agree it feels rushed even though i did enjoy this arc for the most part. I'd love to see those answered. I'd also like to see him making use of the tricks he learned in these crappy fillers. but that's not happening so live and hope i guess.

Wow, so now all the deaths we just perceived are now lies...?

I'm pretty sure the way the jutsu works is that it revives people that were only very recently killed. And probably only those killed by Pain himself. The reason he couldn't revive Jiraiya was because he'd been dead for quite some time (body already decaying and stuff) and Yahiko was because he had been dead for years and was more of a "suicide". It would probably take a great deal more chakra to reach back and grab the souls that died so long ago, as opposed to a few hours.

well new allied village, and a happy ending with no deaths. boooring!!!! Anyhow Since sasuke is moving to konoha I just hope meets killerbee again to get his butt kicked.

I'm a little concerned about how angry I am at a fictional piece of art and writting.


... Nagato killed himself to ressurect everyone there. DBZ style.
... Naruto gets out of this whole situation with only one lost friend.
... There are so many unaccounted for bodies that should be buried beyond acceptable retrieving time-frames, ripped into dozens of pieces or otherwise vaporized by the explosion that went on for as much as a mile in all directions.
... When everyone comes back to life - when the Pain Arc essentially ended without the loss of Konoha.......................... Sasuke gets to show up and repeat the process.


What is Kishimoto thinking?


I know this is way, way, waaaaaay too much to expect from him; but it would be phenomially realistic if Sasuke were to arrive at Konoha and find that the village is destroyed and that Naruto is now busy with local problems and not wanting to fight him.

Then, if by some miracle that will never happen, Sasuke accepts that fact and regrets what he was about to do; that Madara will make his move because Sasuke was a losing gamble on his part and this story will avoid the horrors that is a circular story telling parallistic loop that ruins any suspense and nearly any enjoyment.

Of course.... I can't bet on that one, huh?
