Ok ok, I've got it. For those who were disappointed with this ending. A lot of what happened in this arc can be explained in one of the episodes. Naruto Shippuuden #31. This was the ending of the Gaara abduction arc. Alot about Naruto is explained there.

I see that quite a few of you are HOT about Pain just all of sudden believing in Naruto, but in this episodes it clearly is reiterated by Kakashi that Naruto's strange power is that people just believe in him, even if they don't know him for that long. Now honestly why should this characteristic all of a sudden change just because we're dealing with by far the strongest character we've seen.

I think even the witcher or someone in this same thread said that he doesnt really know what hes doing he just "leaves options open" like that "he has the "special power to change people" its like kishi is saying yeah this is the lame excuse im going to use to do ass pulls like reviving the whole secondary cast who died.

that is really bad writting. so what if he has a "special power" its a story about fucking ninjas with special powers KILLING EACH OTHER dude!

I mean really. . .really? youve got to come up with something better than that dude.

Ok fair enough. But just so that I can understand everyone just a little better (and this is said in the most sincerest way), what is it that keeps bringing all of you back. I definitely don't think that each chapter that has been written by kishi is gold, it has got to be something in this "bad writing" that keeps all the critics coming back for more predictable torture.

I personally just like the series. Yea it's slow and yep I have sat back and predicted some of the outcome, but to be honest I really can appreciate the protagonist. Period. As lame as he may be to most, I can really just respect where and what he stands for.

In some countries, kids play in garbage dumps where there is also things like feces, broken glass, and other things that any one of us here would consider terrible (you can see historical evidence in middle age london). Yet they still play there, because thats all they have known.

The matter of writing is moot, I used to like it when I was young, as all young people like teletubbies, hannah montana. Young 'uns play in abandoned factories with broken glasses. Young 'uns play in garbage dumps. Young uns are easy to amaze. Now its certainly not the story that brings me back, its the habit. And with online manga being free and all, its hard to break.

Uh no. You are clearly young.

People don't just BELIEVE in people, they need to be led, they need to be shown. You can't just say, oh he has some strange power that hypnotizes people when all of his behavior is just run of the mill normal. Either he needs to be charismatic, incredibly social, or just empathetic. In part 1, he had the last. In this chapter, it broke all forms of human reaction.

No we didn´t, that´s why it was shitty.

I would never expect this manga to go into a plot that is actually interesting.
