Thread: Love Triangle: Hinata vs Sakura, who will win?

I think this is a close one.

Hinata:
Ambiguous and shy: -1?
First to confess: +1
Has a proper reason for liking Naruto: +1

Sakura:
Fails at almost everything: -1
Rejected Naruto multiple times: -1
Naruto has crush to her in the past: +1
Has closer relationship with Naruto: +1

I think Ino will take home the boy.

I think Sasuke will win.

I see more reason to him being with Sakura then Hinata. Since Sasuke has been gone Sakura has been getting closer to Naruto, and to me it would be very odd for him to get with someone who he has never had those type of feelings for and then out of the blue he falls for her. I've always seen Naruto and Sakura relationship like Jiraiya and Tsunade, and I feel where Jirayia failed to get Tsunade Naruto will succeed in getting Sakura.

This poll is pretty pointless: there will be no love triangle. Hinata wins by default. Consider:

1) She confessed she loves him while suicidally trying to protect him from the strongest ninja the series has seen to date. Hinata's subsequent "murder" was enough to send Naruto directly to six-tailed Kyuubi form when he'd long ago learned that he should avoid using the Kyuubi at any cost.

2) Naruto has long accepted that his crush on Sakura is one-sided due to her love for Sasuke- go back to the start of the Sasuke Retrieval Arc where he promises to bring Sasuke back for her.

3) This is a shounen action series, not a shoujo romance. There is no melodrama.

4) Hinata has better boobs.

Apart from giving Sakura a bit of Wangst, the series probably won't do anything with it anyway until the epilogue, when we see Naruto and Hinata together. I mean, I'd like to see more of their relationship now, but that's sadly unlikely to happen.

I have to go with Hinata, because I just can't see any romance between Naruto and Sakura as of yet or any time to come.
I have to agree that Sakura is getting closer to Naruto, but only in relation to getting Sasuke (getting stronger together) and as Team 7 (comrades).
His feelings for Sakura have shifted from a one-sided romance towards that of an important comrade which belongs with Team 7, including Sasuke...

Reasons why Hinata should win:
Hinata has always liked Naruto from the very beginning, even as a loser.
Hinata was willing to die for Naruto.
Hinata has always respected and recognised Naruto.

Essentially, the ball is in Naruto's court. Does Naruto still have feelings for Sakura? Or did Hinata's confession and sacrifice move him?
I personally think it's neither of them, as Naruto has too much in his hands...
a) Realisation of his father the 4th.
b) Death of Pa and more villagers.
c) Solution to stopping "Pain" and finding Peace.
d) Destruction of Konoha, again...
e) Sasuke missing and planning to attack Konoha.
f) Mandara as the summoner of 9-tails.

Perhaps when all that is over, he may decide to settle down with Hinata/Sakura.

ignoring the mainly emotional arguments........ and saying that Sasuke will win......meaning no one will. quoting someone above, this isn't a shoujo manga. There really isn't any time for romance here anymore. I'm not going to make any premature assumptions here.
