Thread: What kind of shinobi would Naruto be if it weren't for Mizuki telling him to steal?

Naruto might have never learned kage bunshin! thoughts?

- he will not graduate from the academy student..
- his only jutsu will be sexy no jutsu (hahaha)..
- maybe he will learn from Gai sensei, he will be lee's fellow pupil, coz they both sucks at making seal.

but eventually, i think he will still be a kick-ass ninja, coz what special from naruto is his
"strong will and never give up "way of ninja... if that's not enough, well, he still got the kyuubi inside him.

this thread is retarded. that's like asking, 'what if the first 10 chapters of this manga didn't exist and none of the important characters weren't introduced'

naruto won't pass the exam, there is no team 7, naruto never on the team with sakura and sasuke, sasuke prolly killed by zabuza or that boy who look like a girl or gaara, sakura would be died too, if sasuke died before exam orochi & co will never come to the leaf village looking for sasuke, the 3rd still alive, we will never see jiraiya or tsunade in the story,........ and the story would just skip to the the part where akatsuki take kyuubi out of naruto... soo it's like the manga never exist

BTW this is just my opinion. that is what you ask for right???

hmmm... i guess that's pretty much of it.. sounds like a really boring story...hahahaha

The point is most of the things that happen now didn't happen (including the sound four - jiroubou, sakon, tayuya, kidoumaru, and kimimaro) but some do happens, like akatsuki's plan. The plot will be completely different... but i still think naruto will find his way in becoming shinobi, the probability is naruto trains his taijutsu a lot bcoz he's lame at ninjutsu or genjutsu....

He won't be. Or atleast, he'll spent more years in the academy. Because he didn't steal the scroll of seals, so he wouldn't learn kagebunshin, so he won't pass the prerequisite for graduating. So Kishimoto will have a bad manga. So this is a pointless thread, imo

the question would be better if it was "what if naruto was smart enough to quickly learn all the OTHER super cool forbidden jutsus in that scroll?"

i think. naruto might accidentally get kyuubi out.. but i'm not sure. maybe he get a huge headache

Bah, If that happened I'm sure the Sandaime would've stepped in and had someone teach him on a personal level. Look at who his father is, he had/has potential up the wazzu but didn't really get taught anything. Look at his class for example, it looks like Iruka took care of the mental aspecs of shinobidom and Mizuki took care of the physical aspects. Naruto learns more with his body than with his mind. So it's not that far of a stretch that Mizuki was sabotaging his learning because he didn't like the "demon" brat.

Just look at everything that Naruto did after getting Jiraiya as a teacher, learned the pinnacle of spacial manipulation ninjutsu (Rasengan) in like a month. When it took Jiraiya 2-3 months, and Minato 2-3 years (I think). Though he did have the problem of creating it without the aid of the balloons. He then takes it even further and added nature chakra to it. Though it's hard to figure out how long it took him for Sage chakra but it probably didn't take him that long.

^And then he trained for three years to learn one incomplete jutsu along with 'stregthening his basics'(i.e.nothing else). And later he trained for the equivalent of 20 years to learn one elemental/shape jutsu, again half-complete. Kishi's rather inconsistent at depicting Naruto's learning capabilities(well, his writing usually has plenty of inconsistencies).

About the question, the answer, theorized by me from the manga:
a) Naruto would not have passed the Academy.
b) Team 7 would have been formed, but with a different guy in his place.
c) Sasuke would likely have waited a while longer before going over to Orochimaru because of the absence of his inferiority complex towards his teammate.
d) The Leaf village would have been destroyed almost completely in the Sand/Sound invasion.
e) Danzou would have led the survivors as the nex Hokage.
f) With such a warmongering leader the remnants of the Leaf would also be doomed.
g) Akatsuki would eventually be successful.

Mostly not good.
