So...he broke the shodai's necklace. Interesting. Looks like Naruto has no choice but to confront and control this power on his own now. No more babysitting. I'm loving the prospects!

Too bad the scanlation team doesn't translate the sound effects..

Great chapter. A few humble questions:

1)Did Naruto invoke an automatic Mokuton seal when he transformed? That's what it looked like. How?

2)I wonder why Kyuubi didn't have the intelligence to crush the necklace last time.

3)This time the power of Kyuubi's explosions seems less than four tails. Inconsistency really is Kishi's middle name.

And nice to see that Kabuto will be used to develop Sai's character instead of handing him on to a platter to Sasuke like umpteen other villains. He's gotten too many fights as it is.
