That has to be one of the most fu*ked up images I've seen in a long time, animal cruelty is a serious thing. This is about the 3rd time Naruto has been stabbed in the hand, 1st time for both at the same time. Ma best pull her shit together and summon that next clone....then again Naruto aint moving so he could always go into it himself seen as how Pein is gonna talk.

Anyway, nice chapter. Pain's ability is awesome.

Would it be weird if i said that picture of Pa on page 12 would look good under an open flame?? mmhmmm roast frog on a stick. It was about time Pein took out one of the sennin. Look like kishi was finally payin attention to me when i said "im surprised pein didn't take out Pa or Ma seeing as how they owned him the first time". Yea i think he's dead. There still may be a chance but im doubting it. Kishi's killing off the oldies in quick concession.

Tell me ino's dad didn't just NOW realize that pein's using corpses??? Geez louis these konoha shinobi are dense. He saw animal realm before as a corpse and he only JUST figured "hey these guys are zombies".

O yea was anybody else proud of naruto for coming up with that plan instead of freaking out about being "caught"?? Pa toad DID tell him he had to be perfectly still and the chances of gettin a break like that in battle is almost impossible.. i liked how naruto came to that realization.

Yeah I know every chapter Naruto is pulling something out, he's a different type of genius to Shikamaru and Sasuke.

Actually........ i think he's pretty much on sasuke's level now, in terms of intelligence in my book at least. Sasuke still have more jutsu but w/e. The rematch between those two.. i cant even imagine. That shit just blows my mind.

We're gonna have to get a nice memorial for those lost in konoha after this invasion. And those battle toads.. are they dead or just seriously f**ked the hell up??!!? You know blackflash, since seksekseks started the thread first shouldn't you have left it to him? Well, considering you're reputation everyone will post here now. Well, in the spirit of discussion:

1)Funny how Gamabunta and the other giant toads got all their bones broken by Shinra Tensei while Naruto took one in the face with no injury. You think they'd know senjutsu as well.

2)Killing off Pa was a gutsy move. I thought he'd be a King Kai type character, offering guidance and comic relief from time to time.

3)About Pain's bodies being corpses, I wonder if Kishi will bring up that old jutsu Kabuto used to animate Anbu corpses against Kakashi way back in Part I.

4)Lastly, was Naruto still in Sage Mode when he broke free from the petrified Pain statue? If not I'm curious how he gained that kind of strength in regular form. Will he still be able to shatter stone in the future?

krazykwasi, speaking of memorials, isn't the old memorial(the one featuring the names of every ninja who died in past wars including Kakashi's friends) destroyed now?

The chapter's cliffhanger is perturbing. Almost everything can happen now ( arrival of Sasuke, Rain team, Gai team, Danzo and Anbu, Sai and Yamato, Kyubi... I'm just missing so many possibilities here! ) .
Pa was gathering sage chakra and didn't perform the jutsu, maybe he still has enough to recover a little from his injuries. Go, Ma toad, there's one Naruto clone left !

Well if pa lived its because pain removed that rod that interferes with chakra generating abilities.
I personally can't wait to see what pain's real body looked like, i'm expecting a cripple, So he HAD to use all the corpses.
