well its not all narutos fault, he never gets matched up someone with high elemental usage. its usualy a big guy with a sword or other typical ninja thing. the other way around if sasuke would fight big sword guyz who can take a hit he would be in big trouble ( with out sharingan.. )

Too bad sasuke only had ONE battle where element affinities played a crucial role and he DID infact went up against one of those "big guy with a sword" type, i.e Killer Bee. And technically naruto faced more elemental users than sasuke has in the form of Kakuzu (who had fire, wind and earth at the time)

so why dont you get my point..? killer bee would have won easly if it where not for sasuke's sharingan and Kakuzu was more of a meattank/smart fighter then one that relys on elements, you know how it ended. if i remember correctly he didnt even shoot at naruto ONCE..

about this, I asked this some time ago in the questions and answers thread. It's based on mythology again. For spirit foxes, the number of tails= their age and how powerful they were. Nine was the highest and therefore the most powerful. So logically we figure that the kyuubi is the most powerful of all bijuu.

well if you wanna count fillers (i don't...) naruto fought against a chick that had all elements i think she used all of them against him too....i'm not didn't really get into it...

@ Witcher: sorry, I'm answering a bit late and it's been already discussed. What I've seen about Amaterasu, the user has to focus his eyes on the target to begin with. Fighting 6 Pain is not a good idea with Amaterasu then ^^ . Plus, as already said, Hungry Pain ability who absorbed an entire rasenshuriken (mini atomic bomb with toatl and utter destructon on cellular level...). Same thing for Shinra Tensei which repelled easily a "so quick spinning dense chakra ball"

. That's why I said Sasuke and his team would be short on taking care of Pain

. Idem for Tsukiyomi, how many people can you get when you cast it? Only the people who looked at your eyes?

Overall, I think Naruto and Sasuke are finally on par on overall skills (some compensating others, etc...). Only personal reference, I prefer Naruto's style of fighting ---> I'm forcefully biased

^ I can't agree more than that.

Well at my point of view they are on PAR w/ intelligence, could be power as well. Sasuke is still on top because of his HELL OF A LOT OF JUTSUS, but for intel and power they are on PAR indeed.

But I'm buying the fact that only Naruto or could be Madara can defeat the current PAIN.
Even Itachi is under PAIN / and as far as we know Sasuke defeated Itachi because Itachi does not intend to win at all, and its all because for the sake if his brother Sasuke.

So, even Sasuke and CO will have a very hard time dealing with PAIN. Just take a look what happened during the fight w/ 8Tails.

So I think Naruto is still on TOP of Sasuke, or maybe on PAR if not at TOP.
And not biased at all, only Naruto can defeat PAIN, whether KISHI doesn't like it or not. HAHA.. ^_^x

PS: I've just contradicted myself there. LOL
