Well, if he has a new technique, by all means use it; it's not that one Jiraiya told him not to use or whatever right? lol
yea he might as well do what he can to eliminate pain asap.
he has no reason to toy with pain.
and with 2 bodies down its looking like the next chapter will be interesting to say the least
This chapter was great! It's so awesome that sage chakra grants even more abilities than previously thought. And we'll probably learn more in the coming chapters!
Can you imagine how bad a direct hit would be if a deflected one sent an S-ranked shinobi/corpse-puppet spinning into the distance and possibly put him out of the fight (he's drooling!)?!
And we'll finally get to see the new/improved technique next week!!! WOOT!!!
Btw - anyone else surprised Katsuyu was a guy? I always figured he was a girl . . . .
so i noticed that ma and pa toad are sitting on the scroll on naruto's back...
anyone thinks the scroll is really a bunshin/henge combo?
i think its probable
Whats up with the oversized signatures?
i love you black flash Muah !!!
Finally. I was getting tired of all the speculation over the past few weeks.
1)Naruto tossing that rhino should eliminate any doubts about whether his super strength is on the same level as Tsunade and Sakura.
2)Seeing him using shadow clones for his Rasengan was...dissapointing. Looks like Kishimoto changed his mind and retconned the earlier progress he had conceded to Naruto last chapter. It's not like it's happened before(that tacked-on-at-the-end drawback for Rasenshuriken).
3)I still don't get how Pein has so much chakra to be continuously summoning boss level monsters and doing S-rank jutsus. He's not a jinchuuriki and the Rinnegan doesn't give a larger chakra capacity...so what gives?
And once again, I ask everyone not to get too engrossed in the Naruto Sage Mode hype. We haven't actually seen him use any new jutsus, and we don't know if he's overcome the time limit yet. For all we know next chapter will see him powering down again, or facing some major handicap and you'll all be dissapointed.
Remember, kicking ass consistently throughout the fight is something Kishimoto normally reserves for Sasuke. That's not Naruto's forte.
I'M NO HERO, BELIEVE IT!

^^ He will have to fight till the end 'cause if he stops Pein will kick his ass. So yeah, either he wins or someone interupts!
Holy crap you're pessimistic.
The fact that Naruto chooses to use clones when forming the 2 Rasengans does not constitute "retconning" after one chapter. In fact it makes sense. He doesn't have to put as much thought into them as he's making them, leaving the clones to take care of them after the initial formation.
Pain is an S-rank/Kage-level ninja, with the abilities of the progenitor of all ninja. We have no idea how powerful he really is, not to mention how large his chakra capacity is. Chakra capacity is built up with increased experience and stamina. It stands to reason that an S-rank ninja who regularly controls 6 corpses would have built up a large enough capacity. And where does it say that the Rinnegan doesn't include raised chakra levels? We have yet to find that out.
And we don't even know how Summoning Pain's technique works. Personally, I have seen no indication that it's equivalent to a regular summoner calling upon his most powerful summons. He has never shown the slightest bit of exertion with any of his summons. And the fact that he can summon the variety of animals that he does in addition to the other Pain bodies indicates he doesn't have a conventional contract (if he has a contract at all), but that he can summon anything he's put a chakra receiver into.
And would you get off the whole "more techniques" = "better ninja" rap (which is what your comments seem to indicate)? Kishimoto has all but explictly stated that the quality of a ninja is not the number of techniques a ninja has at his disposal, but the will to see the battle to the end, which Naruto happens to have in spades.
And that last comment is almost as irritating as listening to the (rarely-if-ever-seen) uber-Sasuke-fanboy/girl.
About Rinnegan power, yeah that's a weird mystery. And the chapter really showed us again that the God realm is the most important body among the 6 Paths

About Sage mode, I think/hope there's more to it. When Naruto says "I just have to use Frog Katas"
he looks like it's so easy: I read it like a hint to other posssibilities of skills (I might read wrong though )
Next chapter is promising, Naruto's growth. I won't be disappointed if Kishi shows us it's not a FULL growth (time limit, backlashes and handicaps, etc...). On the contrary, I would be glad, there's all the more hardwork for Naruto until the end of the manga (one of the main theme, hehe)
