yeah, why isn't anybody giving madara any emo time. the guy lost to the first hokage who supposedly duped him to begin with...
his own clan thought he went bonkers....
he HAD the kyuubi when he fought the first (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah....?)
and after moping and some wrist slitting he went back to work ... and find his lost pet ZAH KYOOOBEEE and all others like ...it...
then came the akatsuki and then came the plan... then came preparations for the plan...
what was this about again...?

^ im not fully following your stream of consciousness there but it all sums up to: "Now that the steps are in place and my plan is almost complete I will soon be able to revive my true power, Uchiha Madara's power!!!!" (evil mandark laughter)
"He is now declaring his words to the WORLD!"

if Madara is THE Madara

^i'm pretty sure he is. doesn't matter to me, anyway.
kakashi's dead? without more flashbacks? that sucks. he could've at least done a bit more.
so, how's pain gonna get to myoboku? kinda far away, isn't it? and naruto only just thought of kage bunshins? again? when pretty much everyone here saw that coming.

About the Orochimaru thing, if he couldn't even beat a kid with the MS, I don't see how he could fathom in a million years that he could beat the God of Ninja with a Rinnegan. Plus I think the Sharingan held a special attraction to him, since it had the ability to just copy any jutsu. Also, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't know about Pain's multi-element affinity.
May those who accept their fate be granted happiness; to those who defy it, glory.

Even he did knew about it, Orochimaru sees more potential about the sharingan, itīs his personal belief that a ninjaīs strenght is based in how many jutsu a single warrior has. Iīm pretty sure that to him, the ability to know every technique there is is better than Rinnegeanīs multi-element affinity.

^^ Might be true, but the Rinnegan is far more powerful than the Sharingan. Also, let's not forget that the Rinnegan allows the user to master various jutsu a lot faster than the avarage ninja.
