It's odd, though...and forgive me if this was discussed already, but wasn't the whole reason that this training was taking such a while and effort to complete was because of the fact that Naruto couldn't use Kage Bunshin? If I recall correctly, that gathered up way too much nature energy and increased his rate of permanent transformation into a frog.
Granted, back then, he was using the oil, which was concentrating his nature energy gathering, but still. I mean, we can see him turning into a frog, now, by just running around and trying to gather the chakra.
Whatever happens, I believe (and hope, for that matter) that this K.Bunshin solution will be unlike anything thus far. I'm interested to see what Naruto comes up with to solve the issue.
Cool chapter! Call me an optimist for believing Kakashi just might come back

.....aw, forget it.
I hope Kishi had some other cool guys to replace him with.
One move is always the bread and butter of a character..
Its interesting that in naruto's case is a support move!
That he is using to its fullest, on attack and support and whatnot..
I don't see why the whining.
Pain fight with SIX full time, and each one has a special ability that complete the rest.
One for attack, one for defense and so on.
Why naruto isn't just as cool as Pain? not to mention that all of his clones can do exactly what the original can do..
I was somewhat puzzled why is that Naruto wasn't using clones to train moving Sage, he knows that each clone exponentially speed up the process.. 2-3 clones would be of a great improvement (within the pa's reach)

I've no problem with the Kage bushin in case you want to compare it to the
Sharigan time and space hack.
And his clones can be in sage mode as well, although they wouldn't be as strong as the original i presume cause 1000 sage narutos spell out pure pwnage. As been speculated b4 all he has to do is let his clone gather nature chakra from a safe distance

The complaints about Kagebunshin solution are because throughout Part II, his growth consists of nothing but rehasing of Kagebunshin or Rasengan in some way. It may seem shallow, but in a manga where his peers all have a wide range of techniques it's frustrating to read about a main character who just rehashes the same two-three moves over and over.
Atleast he could use the Kagebunshin in a more logical manner, like learning more elemental jutsus(200 bunshins practice one jutsu, another 200 practice another and so on).
I'M NO HERO, BELIEVE IT!
On the Kage Bunshin issue, I give Kishi credit.
It's just a hint given to us to remember his first Rasengan training.
Still hope he'll find another way to perform senjutsu without KB. First he was obliged to use KB for Rasengan, until he got used to it and performed rasengan on his own ( he can perform normal rasengan alone, right?)
I agree with The Witcher on KB use for training.
He could also train physically his real body on taijutsu to counter attacks from every of his own KB. And gets more used to learn KB experience in real fight.
I still don't think Kakashi is dead. The slug that was sitting on him was probably healing him already and Tsunade just didn't say anything because he is in critical condition.
And as things stand right now, I also don't think that Pain will kill Tsunade. Not if that is the only Pain she has to fight. I mean she has four Anbu and Choji with her (and while we never saw any Anbu do anything they are supposed to be good shinobi) and they all know how this Pain fights. They should be able to dispose of them.
