Knowing them I'm 99.9% sure it's a troll, but if it isn't, I'd say it's a good enough reason to stop subbing the series.
I can't understand how the episode that was mentioned was the most downloaded ever, I mean that was a pretty crappy episode even for Shippuden standards.
Can't you guys read tone? The guy was dead serious, and even sad. But what a great step for anime Viz is taking! Xam'd for PSN was already on the right track, and it looks like these guys will pioneer the concept that can be easily duplicated by many other animes all over the internet.
May those who accept their fate be granted happiness; to those who defy it, glory.

hmmmm so we can only watch and not dl? @@"
>__< that sucks
...yeah...looks like it's over......so basically they're going to sub and stream the newest episodes from their site? Will it be on the same weekly basis as dattebayo did?
Sounds Ballocks to me.

So? It would surprise me if that'll stop people from subbing Naruto. Maybe dattebayo will stop (didn't read that long post), but that doesn't mean that other people will do the same or that other people won't pick it up as a project.
At least that's what I hope. Fan made translations (both for anime and manga) are always better than those done by the publishers. And with animes original language plus subs is the only way to go, if you ask me.
Plus, I never cared much for streaming.
"For Feanor was made the mightiest in all parts of body and mind, in valour, in endurance, in beauty, in understanding, in skill, in strength and subtlety alike, of all the Children of Illuvatar, and a bright flame was in him"
Does it matter?
Either way, you will still be able to watch Naruto and isn't that what matters?
I think we had an older thread for the last troll. Why does anyone care?
