Seems Like filler to me.

Hn. So Naruto's already gained most of the villagers' respect? That's very unexpected. Considering their prejudices I didn't expect him to hype up his achievements that much, especially since his most recent successes were in groups where most of the work was done by others.

I feel a bit sad, though. I was expecting something more dramatic; like initially the whole village blames Naruto for bringing the Akatsuki, then Danzou takes over and he becomes a wanted boy, then during the eventual battle for the destruction of Konoha Naruto arrives in the nick of time, dressed like the Yondaime, to save the day, and the villagers finally come to accept him.

^ Disgusting. The chapter should've explained all your misconceptions already.

I thought it was a very strong moment, learning how the village piece by piece learned to accept Naruto and even sympathize with him.

Next chapter: Konohamaru learns how to destroy all the Paths of Pain. He does the Sexy no jutsu and Pain's head goes BOOM!!

For the first time since the Pain invasion, i have to say that this was the first chapter to show off as really slow to me, they are clicking too much on Naruto´s "never give up" personality facing the difficulties of the training.

But yeah, i liked how the theme of the Konoha villagers talking about Naruto´s adventures change as they go along, it was a great way to show how they changed their opinion about him.

And damn if Ebisu doesn´t look cool in this chapter.

Yay, just when we thought Kishi was gonna give him another limitation, he goes around and opens a path for him to find his own way to achieve Sennin mode which could also greatly lengthen his supposed 5 minutes time limit.

I liked this chapter...it was reassuring to see the link between the villagers and Naruto grow, thereby giving way to his rise to the position of Hokage. As Jaggid said, this chapter served to clear those misconceptions that readers might've held during this arc's progression.

I promised I'd shoot myself in the face if Naruto's next technique involves him using -another- Kage Bunshin to master it, but (lol) it looks like he just might for Sage Mode nature chakra gathering. I would facepalm if it happened, but hey! One, small bunshin for Naruto...one giant Leap for Sage arts.

yeah, this was bugging me too. How many times have they focused on naruto's 'guts' recently? We get it, he's motivated.. jeez.

i liked this chapter, i thought it was really good to see the changing views of the villagers

good chapter nice to see how the villagers see Naruto. Konohamaru's faceplant into the wall lmao.
