Thread: Which shippuden episodes are fillers?

Actually, are there any fillers at all? I stopped at 38 because the anime was getting pretty draggy >_> If there is, at which point does the fillers start and end? Thanks.

from 54 to 71 is the filler arc. however bits of filler can be found throughout nearly all the episodes hence the dragging.

They are not 100% fillers though. They seem to be expanding upon the manga's story line. For example, the fillers introduced the Monk dude and his relationship to konoha and Asuma.

Still fillers to me. You can explain everything concerning chiriku in one sentence. No real reason to watch the fillers just because of that. he is of no significance whatsoever....the manga killed him off pretty quickly after all. and that technique he (and later asuma) showed in the anime was completely ridiculous. I'm glad that shit never made it into the manga.

You know, the filler writers have some great oppurtunities to make up for the manga's shortcomings by expanding upon interesting minor characters. Like the other jinchuurikis, for example. Sadly it doesn't seem like they'd be that bold.

I think someone here makes a good point in their expansion idea. It's not like the writers are telling us anything new when they follow along Kishi's plot, right? So why not put a little depth into the areas Kishi decided to skip? Makes perfect sense to me. Sure the writers are generally terrible, but at least this way... ah.

Since "Curry of Life" episode I gave up on naruto anime and actualy Im not thinking about going back. Is there ANYTHING worth in new shipuden season? Besides (maybe) opening and ending.
