Five GODDAMN FUCKING minutes(sorry) I DON'T BELEIVE THIS.

Please someone tell me that I'm wrong and it's just an error in my reading.

hehe, another restrictions for naruto.

I think Naruto's reaction is the same most of you guys had.

Personally, I think 5 minutes is far too little. I agree a time limit was a good idea, but 5 minutes?

I'm also quite sure Jiraiya's battle (even since he entered Sage mode) lasted more than 5 mere minutes.

Is it really smart to recall Naruto when Pain is there looking for him?

Well, at least we get to see Naruto vs Pain in a few chapters (hopefully).

Jiraiya could only fight that long because he had the help of the Elder Toads.

Man I'm so pissed, waited for chapter and I knew there would be restrictions but this is too much Kishi.

If naruto needs to stay still during sage mode so that he can collect the chakra, why not create a few kagebunshins (or several), and let these kagebunshins take the trouble of collecting the chakra (while hiding, of course)? No need for ma and pa toads to be in the battle with him :p

Anyway, 5 minutes is long enough if naruto has enough skill, but for the moment, he doesn't. Fail, I think

The 5 minutes restriction, is it :

1) when Naruto is alone, concentrates for natural chakra and then he has 5 minutes, after the 5 minutes he must reconcetrate?

2) with Pa Toad on his side

I doubt for the second because I can't see the Jiraya/Pain fight lasting only 5 minutes.

Pa and Ma toad are by his side to help him draw nature chakra (so that he doesn't have to remain still). The time limit remains.

This is Naruto we are talking about. Those 5 mins will probably be like Sakura's 2 mins antidote back when fighting sasori....they will last forever. at least as long as a fight needs them to last.
(I won't mention Ichigo's 11 sec. or what it was masked time restriction, time isn't taken too seriously in this kind of manga)


and they cover was cool as heck. finally we get to see all jinchuuriki after kishi previously just told us "yo, they were all captured already". but there's something weird, too. the 3-tails didn't have a host as far as I can remember.

EDIT: okay I wrote that post before actually reading the chapter, so my question is...when did it say exactly 5 mins? I kinda missed that.

All in all a pretty pointless chapter. come on guys, we knew all along that sage mode would have some disadvantage/risk. there is no way kishi would just give naruto some awesome new technique that doesn't have flaws.

Apart from that, nothing new here. we got another glimpse of the rin'negan's ability, though I have no idea what that was. When he dodged raikiri, I thought it might be some sort of time freeze. but then kakashi seemingly got knocked back by something. I guess we'll have to wait to learn more about pain. I just hope kakashi doesn't die.

But I get a feeling I'm gonna like this whole konoha-invading-thing.
