But Madara didn't have the EMS for a long time.
Madara says the senju's called for a truce after he obtained it.
I might be making assumptions but that's the way it sounded from the way he said it.

Jiraiya's story? Blah. Boring. Er, did we know that Orochimaru had lost his parents when he was young before? I don't remember any more.

The Raikage's anger? I'm just relieved to see he didn't do something fucking stupid and blame Konoha. Madara is going to kill him in a few chapters. Interesting to note that most of the higher-ups in that village appear to be black, not just Killer Bee (that kunoichi was kind of cute).

The Sasuke bit? Well, that about puts the tin lid on it. I'm not so naive as to think Sasuke has any plans to manipulate or backstab Akatsuki, or that he isn't serious about butchering every last innocent in Konoha; Kishimoto simply can't write him with anything like that level of depth. He's a shallow, one-dimensional character and I have NO IDEA exactly what the hell Kishimoto is thinking- making Sasuke a major character who gets more screentime than Naruto and almost unstoppably powerful, yet characterising him as being ludicrously unlikeable (do you think he even REALISES what a douche he's writing Sasuke as?) Sasuke's gone over the line from wangsty emo sociopath into outright villain now with his bullshit "my righteous anger boils over" attitude and his weaksauce justification that he cares about Itachi more than the entire village. Even Madara was thinking "WTF is this loony brat's problem?!" And why did he feel it necessary to lie to his companions about his intentions towards Konoha, did he think they might have twinges of conscience? Hah!

My dearest wish for the series now is is that, at their next reunion, Naruto calls Sasuke out on being an emo, family-obsessed, treacherous, whiny bitch. And then kills him. It won't happen though. Naruto having a one-track mind, nothing at all could ever really turn him against Sasuke (possibly Sasuke brutally murdering someone close to Naruto -Sai being the most likely piece of cannon fodder- but Kishimoto isn't likely to let that happen). Not even Sasuke coldly condemning the entire village to burn for something they had nothing to do with and never even knew about would get Naruto to finally wise up and realise that Sasuke is a douche.

The First Hokage was supposed to have all the other bijūs. Additionally, his technique can seal/stop them.

I think I also read in the 3rd Databook Madara used Kyūbi to keep the villagers at bay, not to fight the First Hokage. (Though, I'd have to read that entry again, since it wasn't properly translated.)

Anyway, I think the "Only a Sharingan user can defeat another Sharingan user" line by Itachi was simply said to state the Uchiha's are really strong. There's the bit about needing to be an Uchiha to be able to deal with Tsukuyomi, but I assume there are ways to avoid it. However, a Sharingan user - while that person might certainly be a tough opponent - is not invincible.

The MS is certainly powerful, and the EMS should be even more so, but that doesn't mean it is unbeatable. And, as I already said, the First Hokage was no joke, even Madara himself looked up to him.

I'll just leave this post here, I seriously don't intend to discuss anymore.

Yes it is true that Madara himself said Hashirama was the only man he admired. But
the point to my argument is how was he better? We don't know.
And seeing how kishi overpowers the sharingan, it really is hard to imagine Madara losing

I wish Madara went more in depth about his fight with Hashirama... =/

If he will be then at the end of manga kish will pull shit like.
Naruto becoming hokage and making sasuke hokage to redemn his ancestor decisions.
Aka senju giving power to uchiha to make them feel like they are needed and trusted.
For fuc1 sake do not want.I dont want that kind of ending ;/.

The mokuton was only a trait to the 1st Hokage. Which is what makes the Senju clan being the strongest even more stupid. They didn't have a bloodline limit. Kishimoto himself said that only the 1st could do Mokuton. Tsunade is part of the Senju clan and she ain't got no Bloodline limit neither. So it makes it even more ridiculous that a non-bloodline limit having mofo could beat the strongest Uchiha powered up with an EMS and the Kyuubi(strongest Bijuu).
And it makes it even more laughable that a clan with no bloodline limit could be stronger with a clan with the ultimate bloodline limit(sharingan).

To top that off. People in the Uchiha clan started to murder their best friends and brothers to obtain more power. It's just me assuming but there probably were people that actually
achieved the MS. Quality over quantity. :P

I don't know. The bloodline might be different. I mean there were some theories suggested by others but this seems plausible: Let's suppose it manifests only in a male. Water and earth form wood. Thus, take water as the main element. I think every male would be born with a water ability but Hashirama had the earth element as well to make his mokuton. This might also explain his brother's ability to manipulate water from thin air as he probably didn't have the secondary element. Water and earth combined gives him control over nature.
