Ahh thanks, too many people on onemanga to read it tho.
I liked this chapter, even tho its kinda pointless to the main story plot, but its still needed to show some in depth characteristics of the characters, so its pretty meaningful.

Nice chapter, the flashback of young j-man saying "you can give me a love letter later" was jokes, only he would open up with a line like that when meeting someone for the first time. The front cover was good as well. Looks like the next chapter is gonna be about the key.

The front cover gives a meaning into the personality of naruto, of how he is feeling then when he found out that his mentor died. The cover is great.

But you know whats the best part of it all is. Naruto is a baddass for keeping his cool when he found out the news. And to think, people say he is a pussy. Screw that, naruto is a badass in my book.

I know the way he kept his cool was good, everyone expecting him to cry like a little baby and scream and shout. Instead he kept level headed a told it how it is to Tsunade about if J-man was hokage he would never let her go on that mission alone. Now instead of having Sasuke on his mind when training he's gonna be thinking about how he can make Jiraiya proud and become the hokage like he said he would.

We'll see when he meets with Pein. Thats when we will know if he is going to keep his cool, or just lash out on him for killing Jiraya.

And the message I got the feeling that is somehow related to naruto's seal, atleast part of it. Since 4th went ahead and made that key and all to keep it at bay and even reseal completely if needed to

I don't know if I'd call blaming Tsunade for the death of a man she's been friends with for 40 some-odd years "keeping your cool". But I do think the chapter showed a realistic reaction to hearing about your mentor's death.

I also like how Iruka finally got some real face time. He finally showed himself living up to his surrogate father status. His words were perfect for both comforting Naruto as well as steeling his resolve for the trials to come.

"oh, i cant get sasuke" -> lets cry like a baby
"oh, jiraya's death" -> lets cry like a baby
"oh, something really stupid" -> same...
