I do not see the perception of his idols being destroyed in any way. The people he admires are the Hokages, the Sannins and some of his instructors. The ones who have been portrayed as the bad guys have been the higher ups and Danzō.

The only thing that'll happen is that he will realise the village is not a perfect place as he used to think. That will, most likely, make him want to become Hokage even more.

Im pretty sure danzo will become Hokage if tsunade dies.I just cant see Kakashi as hokage.If this ever happens it will probably be during the time naruto is looking for sasuke or when hes fighting akatsuki,and when he comes back everything is changed and thats when theres a BIG war,and then boom explosion.

^Danzo was the guy who was imprisoned, so if ROOT is responsible for Tsunade's death, then you're right. If not, then Tsunade's will is to have Kakashi succeed her.

But, then it would also be possible for Danzo to send out agents from root to destroy the will and take over the council meaning either way its still possible that Danzo will become Hokage.
