Thread: Tobi Cosplay(Need Pics)

I'm planning on cosplaying Tobi (Uchiha Madara)

I would like pictures of Tobi, the Akatsuki overcoat, and his distinctive mask. I already got a few images, but any other reference pictures would be great. I've considered a 3d woodcarving as the face mask, but I'm also considering carving it out of foam, and using a vacuum form table to get a negative out of it, then coating the negative with plastic to get a 3d mask.

Either way, I need reference photos, either line art or out of the anime (Which I have yet yo watch). Colors would be great too.

Wow, you sound like you're really going to put some effort in. My vote goes to the plastic idea, it sounds lighter (and easier). But, I wouldn't know, I'm not a craft person. (And I think a wooden mask would be cooler to have for later, but that's just my opinion.)

After looking at this, I really think the mask needs to not be smooth. I'm pretty sure you're on the right track there, I think it would look much better with some depth to it.

Is there anything more specific that you're looking for?

Yeah, looks like. Think you can buy Akatsuki forehead protectors too, but you don't need one for Tobi.

Do you think you can post pictures of your mask and how you make it? I'm really curious how this plastic thing works. What kind of plastic is it?
