Thread: Flawless Mangekyou, two eyes or four?

I understand that madara took his brothers eyes and gained a flawless mangekyou sharingan, but does he have four eyes or two now? Because in all honesty an average eye socket cant hold two eyes can it, and even if it somehow could arent two of the eyes basically obsolete? I guess my vote is for the two because even if you take out the eyes its not the chakra goes anywhere, unless the chakra in the eyes would rejuvanate the ones that were fading into darkness? And once sasuke learns how two control itachi's dojutsu wont he be on the same playing field as madara? No scratch that because madaras power has faded over time, would he be stronger?

Madara only got two eyes, we have seen that even though we haven't seen 100% of his face. We can still see he got his eyes where they are meant to be..He just made a weird jutsu fusion to create the EMS.

Besides, In Itachi's point of view, Madara powers have faded over the years. But, as we can see with the the battle against Team Naruto, he still seem to be quite capable of "fighting".

Anyways, EMS is for two eyes. I don't know about this talk of eye-merging jutsu or whatever, but I got the impression that EMS resulted when you put your bro's eyes into your own sockets and they synched.

I appreciate the clarification urameshi-dono, im guessing that it means madara took his own eyes out of his head and only has the set his brother left him. As far as hench goes if you could coherently state your argument and or statement as urameshi-dono did rather than typing in broken english then there would be no need to flip out right? But lack of common sense aside, ill go ahead and rock with the opinion that madara has his brothers eyes and theyve "synched" with the already present chakra in madara's body and eyes. No. Don't let the "eye ball poppin cult" of the Uchiha's history confuse you..

To simplify things.. Madara just went through the same procedures as Kakashi did for Obito's eye. Just Madara's circumstances were different. And he got two eyes instead of one.


Now if you want to think about something interesting.. Because of this whole eye implanting. Does this mean that Madara also can not deactivate his Sharingan? Most people would immediately chim "Yes!" but hear me out..

We all know now that its real possible to implant eyes within other people. Though in the beginning they barely touched on the matter. They did talk about how important it is to protect bloodlines.

Kakashi had his Sharingan implanted by a medical ninja. Though its said that his skill with his Sharingan is could (but not really) rival Itachi. We do know that using the Sharingan uses a considerable amount of chakra for non-Uchiha members.. But for the Uchiha themselves, the chakra usage isn't nearly as bad. To say the least.

So then..

To save the user of the Mangekyou Sharingan from becoming blind. They must implant another Sharingan. Which, it seems likely they have to be of equal caliber more or less. So does that mean they also lose the ability to deactivate it since they're Uchiha?

I mean, sure you could say yes. Cause of blood and what not. But when you think about it, its not like there's a draw back. The regular Sharingan barely takes away chakra from Uchiha users. On the other hand, the Mangekyou Sharingan drains a lot of chakra from both parties.

So, what do you think? Does it deactivate after being transplanted? Is the flawless Sharingan really just a Sharingan that can't be deactivated. Forcing the user to come accustomed, strengthening their chakra and obviously usage of MS?

now that i think about it. if ems requires eye implants from a brother. and in order to get the new eyes to fit, u have to take out your old eyes. couldnt they just swap eyeballs and both get ems?
