Thread: Kyuubi-Ying and Yang Chakra?

here goes..if i read correctly then the Fourth Hokage(Minato aka Naruto's dad) fought the kyuubi and then sealed it with the same jutsu the Third Used to seal Orochimaru's arms...

but instead of sealing it within himself he used his sons body aka Naruto.
Minato's soul must have then been eaten by the reaper thing along with the Kyuubi's Yin Chakra....

ok my questions start here - why did naruto's dad only seal the Kyuubi's Yang chakra within him, and why the yang chakra... isnt that the evil part of the chakra?
wouldnt The Yin chakra have been easier to handle...and also why only half of the chakra, why not all of it...

Is the other half of the kyuubi's chakra sealed away along with Minato, or is it in reality sealed inside jiraiya's frog scroll that he keeps inside of him(inside of him lol)?

Oh and another thing....does Naruto only having half of the Kyuubi's chakra mean that when Naruto is in (4 tail kyuubi mode) its actually equivalent to only 2 of the real Kyuubi's power?

I understood that Minato used a combination of seals not only the death god seal, he used the constelation and the 4 seasons too..

Then he put all of kyubii chakra inside naruto, and sealed the YIN part away from naruto, that is represented by the gate with "seal" on. The Yin chakra is the kyuubi itself he can not pass through the gate but the "Yang" chakra of him, can.
That is what been seeping into naruto, and he can call upon.

The Key is used to "twist" and open the seal(the gate) so he can tap into the YIN part of the Kyuubi chakra.

so basically more power to naruto if u tweak the seal

so basically what you are saying is that he is always using the yang chakra? it makes sense since we know that he had problems to control it when he strated his lessons with jirays a long time ago...
but if that's true, then i wonder how much chakra does he actually have , not counting the kyuubi's at all.

I think Naruto got enough, the Kyuubi chakra just gives his jutu's a little boost. But I do look forward to see him without the Fox inside, Just to see what happends when he gets mad.

First of all, yin is the evil half of the chakra. YANG would have been easier to handle. As for why he isolated the chakras, this makes sense if you remember that chakra is molded and usable through the mixing of the ying and yang halves of chakra (said by Konohamaru off his scroll). So by isolating the separate elements of the kyuubi's chakra, the kyuubi wouldn't be able to use its full power and would be forced to rely on Naruto who has the complementary type of chakra in his body needed anyways. So, this means that there is essentially a cap on the kyuubi's usable chakra is placed by Naruto's limited ying/yang chakra. This also explains why Naruto's chakra has grown so much to compensate for the kyuubi.

The way they say it in the manga makes it seem like the latter. But what Minato sealed within himself is now a mystery.

No. It means Naruto had enough ying chakra that when he was possessed the Kyuubi, it's yang chakra could mold itself with Naruto's ying to turn 4-tails. If you look at it in terms of raw power though, I guess you could say that. The fact that Naruto had descended to 4-tails means his ying chakra is only half of the full capacity of the kyuubi's ying.

There's no such thing as good or evil in Yin and Yang or such duality
but the relations between Man/Female, Day/night, etc etc
Or for the combining to create a unity of opposites in the theory

creating an imbalance in the Kyuubi's chakra forcing him to rely/and share with his own

What do you guys think would happen if the seal were gone...i mean the way jiraiya was talking he made it seem as if it werent a big deal or something..and that Minato must have planned for naruto to release the seal sometime in the future.. Minato was a smart guy...but how did he imagine anyone would actually be able to control the ninetails anyways...

^Jiraiya didn't make it seem unimportant...but yeah, Minato had planned for Naruto to release the seal and he did figure out that someone had released the Kyuubi based on the last Kyuubi attack, so sealing the Kyuubi in Naruto took care of that problem. This is all explained quite literally in the chapter Jiraiya talks to the one frog about the key.
