Thread: Naruto Elemental Logic?

You know, the body produces it's own electricity because. It's mostly because of that Sasuke can access lightning easily, especially since it's his elemental. Also, any number of ninjas elemental to wind can channel it through a sword, kunis and whatnot. Not very different than using lightning. When it comes to making sense in Naruto canon, there is always some kind of logic involved with science. And science is a huge part of there world. Kinda ironic seeing as people who wield powers turns to science rather than religion.

Case in point: Find the me the science that says that wind can be condensed and sharpened to a sharp enough point to easily cut stone. If you can even remotely find that outside of a small-scale cannon in a lab, if that even exists; then go the extra mile and logically deduce how creating a ball of spinning chakra is somehow tremendously harder than compressing air down to iron density.

You can't. That's the point. Wind doesn't make blades. Wind sure as hell doesn't stick to a sword in a static state of ultra density. You can't hold someone with darkness. You can't catch a fireball on your clothed back and hair and only get a minor bruise. You cannot use electrical charges to disarm explosive puddy.

Don't bring real world physics and logic into this world and claim they apply.

Im not sure if you know this or not but I belive that the Naruto elemental system is based off of the 5 chinese elements. The elements are wood(lighning), fire, earth, metal(wind) and water. Wood compliments fire, fire compliments earth, earth compliments metal, metal compliments water and water compliments wood. Like wise wood beats earth, fire beats metal, earth beats water, metal beats wood, and water beats fire. Also search wikipedia on chinese elements for more information. Actually, it didn't. How on earth (lol) is wood lightning? And Wind is Metal you say? Something(s) just doesn't add up.

who cares, its fiction made to entertain and its mostly for kids anyway.

u are just making up stuff now, although this is based on the chinese zodiac, it has been changed into something way different. This is completely naruto universe now.

i rest my case.

and i think we should all just accept how these things work within a fictional universe. as long as there is still an acceptable line of logic within the story (i.e. impossible for sasuke to just kill someone by LOOKING at them (maybe MS can do it?)), then i think we have to stop applying real-world laws into the story.

In the manga, fire > wind> lightning > earth > water > fire. People should just accept it.
