yeah, looks like the armor wasnt as bad as anticipated. it was good to see sasuke break out of his calmness demeanor in this week's chapter. He was thrown something he wasn't expecting, so makes you wonder if he can defend himself against it.

i know the sharingan needs chakra to activate, but does using the curse seal actually need it? If you notice, sasuke still has it turned off. He actualy realy might be out of chakra if the cursed seal doesnt need any to be activated. or do you think he feels he doesnt need the sharingan to battle with itachi anymore?

yeah, definetly not as bad as expected.

What does any of that matter compared to the first frame of page 16?

It would be interesting to see him have an MPD moment there, it was never really clear what happened to Orochimaru.

edit: Is there any indication that the armor isn't Susanoo? The sidetext at the end of the chapter isn't being particularly clear about it.

i think susanoo is a different jutsu altogether, not the armor. and yeah, at least it wasn't the conventional armor, but i don't get how it works or where on earth it came from.

at least now the tables are turned again. right now, the battle looks better.

my only problem with this is that this completely invalidates naruto's strength. until now, the only thing naruto had going for himself was his all-powerful rasenshuriken. now sasuke can just manipulate natural lightning, without using his own chakra.

can't wait to see itachi sneeze out susanoo.

^ well imo, i reckon that the best taijutsu (assuming that Susanoo is a taijutsu) would be able to ATTACK and DEFEND incredibly well in one instance. All forms of martial arts focus on attacking an opposition whilst not letting your guard down to be exposed for any form of counter attack. If Susanoo was able to turn defence into attack into an instance, that would be one incredible taijutsu.

well, none realy. you can look at either, doesnt really matter. The one in page 16 is actually larger, so that may be your preference. But both pages are clear that sasuke doesnt have his sharingan on. If the cursed seal doesnt need chakra to be activated, then we could very well presume that sasuke is out of chakra, not even enough to have his sharingan.

i believe that the skeletal armor that we see is susano itself. I'm thinking that he would be going taijutsu with that on. and as mentioned, be able to attack and defend simultaneously. kinda like how the same concept was used in Shaman King. Thats one strong jutsu if that is how susano works. Although it's very similar to how Gaara fights except we dont know what susano is made up off, pure chakra or some element.

Wow. That chapter was pretty freaking cool in my opinion. I really underestimated Sasuke, after he thought Itatchi died he actually got excited: "I DID IT!!" hahah..

Was I the only one who imagined it like the shouts of joy like that of a little kid? YATTA!! I did it! Yay!


Anyway.. I guess Naruto's gotta up his game a little now.

Good chapter story wise ... i mean better then most of us expected after those spoilers.
The armor is still very unclear, I also think that this already is Susanoo.
Sasuke is very strong now with Kirin, that one jutsu i d expect from Pain.
No idea why he didnt use this against Deidara tho, it would have saved him loads of trouble.

Itachi looked in really bad shape until now, but hes fine ... even his eyes lol
And Sasuke probably is w/o chakra, but he activated that CS2 out of rage, like when you r exhausted but still manage to overcome the pain of it to do something.

The tables have turned it would seem, and I love the way Sasuke acted in this chapter.
