Question: does Utakata require sharingan use in any way?

I'm asking because a scary thought came to my mind.

I think he was refering a jutsu or that sort called utakata, so the question becomes : What is utakata?

    Genjutsu

    Last genjutsu on this page.

I wonder why Itachi smiled. Maybe he touched Sasuke's forehead in such manner not because it's symbolical and somehow related to his and Sasuke's past, but more because he wanted to fool Sasuke into thinking he(Itachi) is really weak and can't do anything - when, in fact, in reality, Itachi is able to pluck Sasuke's eyes. itachi would do utakata IMO because he knows Sasuke can't activate his sharingan due to lack of chakra.

ooh, right sorry. now i remember!
but no, I do not think that jutsu requires sharingan. one just has to be a master in this type of battle skill to achieve it.
it could be a good plan though, although I have my doubts that kishimoto will use it. anyhow, the next chapter is named sasuke's victory..........so whatever itachi might pull off his sleave, it probably won't kill sasuke in the end.

Thats the lamest crap i've ever heard. Hell, beyond not even worth reading. Listen, i'm sorry to say this but, your gonna have to rectify that comment about naruto.

Naruto IS good at learning jutsus and he IS better at being creative than anyone else. A ninja doesn't make himself a ninja if he has a hundred jutsus. Kakashi has over a 100 jutsus but he doesn't even use a quarter of em.

I dont think its that lame. Naruto is the slowest learner of all. Creative? NOt really, its hard to even name a single move he comeup with (sexy jutsu is one). He fights well due to his persistence. what u think of creative is probably his ability to work with the surrounding when fighting, allowing him to dilever his moves. Learning the rasengan is easyi (very loosely here, im not sure if he can do it with one hand yet) for him since he has lot of charkra to make use of clones and its contribution.
Killing time while waiting for the next chapter. OnePiece, that is.

I think you guys are giving naruto very little creative here. Granted he isn't very big on stealth but his aggressiveness brawler type style fighting style as well as his instincts is more than enough to stand up to normal ninjas.
However, what i meant about naruto being fast learner and being creative is that naruto, IS a fast learner and creative (thinking on his feet as well as learning jutsus). And the shadow clones just increases that by unlimited amount. Shadow clone is one. Naruto learned that jonin level technique in such a short amount of time. And thats more than enough to impress any higher up ninjas for an eleven year old. However thats besides the point. The point is, naruto is strong enough and smart enough to recreate the rasangan, a legacy of the forth's techniques. That says something.
I dunno about you but from canon version, only the strongest and intelligent ninjas are able to create new jutsus. Not to mention ninjas are suppose to be creative.

Holy S***, good catch! I never linked this trademark of Itachi with a respective jutsu of the same motions.
