well put. i just have problem with Kishi going that deep into the prophecy. But given Jiraiya's situation, he has the need to make sense of his life purpuse, although he should be thinking of an escape plan (one of the toad told him that, and he refused). Its interesting how its obvious to us who Pain is, but not to Jiraiya, then suddenly, he says he knows, and we find ourselved deeply confused, because the stuffs he mentioned as he was thinking didnt help us put together the puzzle.
