The prophecy

I have just been talking to my friend about Naruto and we have come to the decision that the prophecy that frog guy was talking about was about Naruto rather than Pein. As Naruto is Jiraiya pupil and he has the kyuubi and is well bad ass when he has 4 tails and think about how bad ass he would be if he has all 9 tails.

This may be wrong but to us it seems like it could be true.

i figured that when the frog guy was telling jiraiya about it...the prophercy couldnt mean the person jiraiya thought it did, it would be too obvious, what kind of manga would it be if the prophercy didnt relate to the main character


i believe it has also been mentioned on other threads like the chapter discussions.

yes it's for naruto. because the old frog told jiraya he will be a great ninja, pervers who write a book.
who is his student at this moment ? naruto !!

well technically it could have been pein because he was once jiraiya's student. it can be either one, but i suspect it is meant for naruto while jiraiya just interperated it as being pein. you cant claim its definatley for naruto based on suspitions because it fits, it also fits with pein. it can be either one of them.

Maybe that was why Jaraiya was so surprised at the end of the chapter. Maybe he just came to realisation that the prophecy was intended for naruto.

a few of Jiraiya's disciples can be placed under this: 4th, Pain, Naruto

it has to be naruto what pein is trying to plan with the bijuu and the final one comes down to naruto making him the final decision to save it or fail and see the world destroyed

i say the phrophecy is about Naruto but i believe Jaraiya always believed the prophecy to be Peins

pein and naruto, yes 4th no...you cant fulfil a prophecy if your dead, at least it would be pretty hard too
