Thread: origin of the name

before the yodamie(am i spelling this right??)'s name was revealed there were some ppl who refered to him as Arashi Kazuma
where did that come from??
i always thought it was his real name before they told us in the manga that it was minato namikaze

Im not too sure about it neither, But it was either a Bad translation, or a name made up by some Fan fic. Thats my general idea where it came from.

some people tried to read the name that was on the frog summoning scroll before naruto wrote his.

supposedly that is yondaime's signature, but it wasn't meant to read since the kishimoto wouldn't just give away his name so early..

so.. basically it was some illegible scrawl on the frog summoning scroll, and people tried to make letters out of it the best they could.

But Minato doesnt has Narutos Last name, so it makes sense that they have no similarity in their signatures.

And since Japanese is so complicated with all the differend kanjis that exist, and on top of it the different handwritings, its reasonable why you cant translate Yondaimes name with the scroll.

If anyone of you remembers, Ichigos Zanpakutou was refered as "Kitsuki" at first, which was a translation error. But not wrong completely.

hmm.. has anyone gone back and checked if it could have possibly been minato's name?

(ahahah.. i remember kitsuki. )

im sure the people who believed in the theory have...cant u just picture them squinting their eyes untill a part of it faintly resembles a sylabol of his name
