all stories root back to another, whether you know it or not.. but Dragon Ball is the mother of most to the people of this age since we grew up with it --- isn't it time to think outside of your box?

Actually between Naruto Bleach and One Piece I think that Naruto is the least similar. Bleach feels like the successor when it comes to the fights with power levels seemingly being everything, and I call Luffy Goku-lite. As for Naruto, the battles range from slugfests (Chouji vs that fat Orochimaru underling) to strategic (every Shikimaru fight), and aside from some physical aspects that are Goku-esque, Naruto isn't really like Goku. Even the fact that Naruto and Goku are both "outcasts" is pretty moot since I don't ever remember Goku being sad about it. Whereas that is a pretty big part of Naruto.

Even though Naruto drags on too much, it is Ace compared to DBZ not being a fan of it myself, so I wouldn't even place the plots or characters together!
Naruto > DBZ

Its nothing new that comics spawn other comics. They are still funny to watch. But if we are goin to talk bout ripoff, take 666 Satan as a exemple.

^How is 666 a ripoff? I think its a rather original storyline (moreso than Naruto anyways).

Seriously... its like saying french fries is a rip off of potato chips. These types of threads are really... bad on the cholesterol.

Since 666 is made of Kishis little brother, he have taken some stuff from Naruto ^^ like the demon trapped inside the main character, no parents, Both have enemies who tries to capture these demons, Hard childhood for the main character, and etc.

according to wikipedia kishi has asked fans to stop claiming his brother copies him, the drawing style would be similar since they grew up with eachother, but the plot similarties might be they came up with these ideas as kids using their imagination and eventually they incorrperated them into manga (its just a thought)
i went and looked them up out of sheer curiosity i never knew they were twins (probably was mentioned somewhere on the boards), so cool! might explain why they think similar sometimes...or am i just stereotyping twins that they think similer
