How is that a year old thread gets Necro'd? Tomorrow would have been the 1 year anniversary of this thread, couldn't you have at least waited one more day...

True, true. They always have the Konoha family theme running in the backround as opposed to killing machines. The third even died with this theme being forced into Orochi's head (and arms).

So, tl;dr, but generally speaking when you become a genin you're supposed to learn from your juunin leader. =\

Unless you're from like the Hidden Mist or some crap.

"bunshin can be combined with explding jutsu's and kill you enmeies when they attack" now that has meaning
    !
Forget history of diplomatic if you gonna have weaposn practice be real "Shodaime kicked Maadara's ass with this simple jutsu, start using it!"

    thats motivation

Also he does not seem to follow the Instructional events model like we do in our schools they don't evern

    Prepare them to learn
    1. attention gain their attention
    2. Expectancy tell them they will be tested
    3Retrival of memory:

    \Aqusition and perform
    4. Selevetive perception of stimuls features show them things
    5. Encoding: sstorage litmlet help them memozei it
    6. Retrrive and respond ask them qustion
    7. Reinforce tell them write or wronge feedback

    transfer of learning
    8. Cuing retrieval
    9;generalization assess performance

so basically gain attentin, tell them theywil be tested, then present, test them reinfornce and then asses then asssive the with quesions

    is it really thatt hard?

it isn't possible for a dedicated student to fail unless theya re really retarded and we all know naruto aint a retard with strategy.
I mean if naruto's education system was based on getting his attention then motivating and last steps were assess if he was doing okay then he would be okay. But mostly the huge aquisition and performance was gapped out and an orphan like naruto had to pay the price because no one would take the time to see if he really aquired and preferomedn ti right, let alone prepare him for the learning phase of jutsus. its like they expect everything to come naturally, hell even sasuke was taught how to learn by his parents. Naruto just wings as he goes along.

Also the academy barely helps students reach automated basic skills
    1. cognitive basic skills naruto should be taught how to problem solve to make sense of procdures
    2. Assositve stage naruto should be taught how to chunk all hundred steps into larger chunks and fewer steps
    3. Autonomous stages, all those huge procudres are finally tuned and becomes automatic

cog, assosiate, and auto stages, if iruka could give naruto enough info and enough feedback we would not have such a drop out, instead we woould have a genius, teaching how not just how to do it, and why and when to do it, and when is the jutsu beiong done wronge and what to do to improve on it. Instead Naruto simply has a whole mix of domain spefic strategies he can only use in one situation instead of creating automatic larning strageties like Itachi who has enough feed back and evaulationg to be able to outsmart a nation of stupid illiterate ninjas.

hardly the strategy the genin class is anyting more then baby play, its scary that they survived in the ninja realm at all with that little training.
First off, your spelling is atrocious.

Secondly, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but at what point in the manga, did we actually sit through an entire school day with Iruka as our teacher? Honestly, how can we even assess his teaching methods? Furthermore, how can we even assess his teaching methods, when his subject is on ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu?!?!?!

Iruka sensei never reallly makes any of the lessons very meaningful the man simply gives you some back ground information and then expects you to know things about it. He never builds up on it, and makes sure that he provides added motivation, "you should study thins because you'll be tested this in the exam" and does not elaborate on it.I mean really all he says is "bunshin will decieve enmemy": cn't he make it more interesting?"
I'm surprised you have such first-hand knowledge of Iruka's teaching methods. Did you transfer from another school that had a better teacher?

hardly the strategy the genin class is anyting more then baby play, its scary that they survived in the ninja realm at all with that little training.
'Yeah man totally. When i was in Sungakure our teacher's were way better. We were young but we analysed basic formations from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Ninja Wars. Iruka on the other hand just teaches us about bunshin's; and not even about how to effectively use them. Pfft, that was like, 3rd grade stuff back at Sunagakure."

It's utterly pointless trying to analyse, and criticise, the teaching methods of an imaginary character, teaching imaginary subjects, which require imaginary forms of human energy.
