as far as pain and madara/tobi - if this is true - is concerned, it could just be that Pain respect him since he is older. why must we alway conjecture something dramatic? (feel free to answer, but dont be serious). Remember that every member is in Akatsuki for something different, so its more like mutual respect. but they can still take advantage of each other of course. being submissive can just be part of a plan, duh.

who's stronger pain or madara?

Dont see why people is wondering why Tobi is "bossing" Pein around...Maybe they just got a commen goal and Pein cant see why he should be the boss when Tobi got the plan worked out...besides, it seems that the Inner circle of Akatsuki aint so Evil as they first appeared to be..Perhaps their plan is just to keep peace, or crush the surrending countries so there wouldn't be anymore Pain (Pein)
I can see where he got his name from now..

Either way, they do seem to got some sort of secret plan that we now nothing off yet...and they diffenetly dont want any outsider like Jiraiya to know about it..

Slightly off-topic: what are your opinions on Pain's current body? I mean, why is it similar to Deidara's body? Do you think that Pain like Deidara's bombing skills?

^I think they added Deidara to make ties back to the legendary god Pain is supposed to represent. If you look at the features of his profile as defined currently, Pain's traits fit the profile of the Hindu god Vishnu very well. I'll elaborate on that in a different thread.

Well, all Jiraiya did for those 3 years was teach the kids to fight. Those kids were able to accelerate their learning since it was wartimes, though their progress in just 3 years is unbelievable. It takes ninjas in Konoha like 6 or 7 years to reach that kind of skill, since they start learning from the academy. Making these random fairly unskilled poor orphans have enough skill to learn elemental jutsus in just 3 years is pretty hard to believe.

Well I don't know why nobody has noticed but The Sage of Six Path is a hint towards an Avatar, meaning he is able to preform all elemental types of ninjutsu.

Six types of elements = six paths

which would make him more powerful than any ninja around now including Madara.

That would give Pein the ability to fuse all elements together to make the Ultimate Jutsu.

But I wonder what other powers does the Rin'ngan give to it's user.

he just taught them some ninjutsu.isnt that hard.he taught them to learn from experience guess,and that makes a lot of difference
