i really can't think of a cool way pein could use his rinn'eigan (sp?), a technique having to do with reincarnation based on the name, aside maybe changing bodies, each, which i can only assume possess different sets of abilities.

of course, it will do, coz changing bodies is the technique of ino's family

maybe because orochi can't find madara body like another hokage, so he knows madara still alive...or maybe he sent kabuto to spying pain like kabuto spying sasori, so he knows about madara already, that's why he needs uchiha body not just to defeat itachi but also defeat madara...

But back to your Question, Orochipedo left because he couldn't beat Itachi. He have always wanted a Sharingan so he can have all the jutsus and be the strongest. But since Itachi was stronger then him, he was forced to leave..Therefore he went after Sasuke next..

Which also was stronger then him..Damn, Oro know how to pick those boys..
