(this is so going to appear as double post on a normal view!!)

Someone mentioned, Hybrid mode, I checked it..

It would work alot better, because it create a forum view of the tree you just selected.
When I clicked Urameshi's post, I saw everything but, first post, kaom, and last post because they weren't on the tree..

I guess it would work alot better.. hybrid mode that is.

Too bad the thing Tet mentioned is lost, you can't go on looking on posts, without losing the typed text

    Default Testing not using quick-reply

Humm everything got lost and the last posts are a mess..

    reply button = bad!!

    Anyway!!!!
We can "force" a switch, by sending the mode on the link, so anyone that click this link would automaticaly be in hybrid mode.

I agree on the hybrid mode being a suitable alternative. If most of us like it, I don't see a problem with keeping it as the default for most of the forum since its pretty much the normal mode + a little.

Maybe we should add the option to the old poll or create a new poll with the option.

Meh, overall I don't see the point in changing the default setting for the whole forum. Hybrid mode just seems pointless to me. And changing everything for everyone is awkward and tedious to those who are happy with the format that most forums use.

If you like the hybrid or threaded view. Then change your personal settings. No need to impose it on everybody.

I wasn't trying to get everyone to switch. I just wanted hybrid to be a consideration in the poll to see its general reception.

Replying using normal view, reply with quote.

Seems when you do it, it create the tree on the hybrid or threaded mode.. so I guess this is the only way that someone using any mode can reply and keep the current tree in order..

All they have to do, is reply with quote the main chapter to coment the chapter, or any thread.

and now simply using quick reply..

    [edit]

Well, I do agree, that would be unwise to force us to switch modes, but kaom or tet, can you do another test?
Create a new topic with few replys, and then merge with this one..

Then we'd have the Chapter archives, and latest chapter

When a new chapter open the last chapter get merged on archives.
If the things goes as I think it will

It will automaticaly create the tree for the hybrid mode to work.

Okay, I'll add Hybrid as an option to the poll (and will now test it out myself).

I'll make a new thread right now and merge it tomorrow morning...let's find out what happens.

Edit- Hey, I kind of like Hybrid mode...
