^Phantom. Tobi and Obito, when written in Japanese, are made up of 2 characters that are common in both names, just that the order is switched. Irecinius has mentioned how this is strange to the pronounciation because technically the spelling of Obito's name implies his name should be pronounced Bito. So the letters really are reversed.

And don't clump Tobi=Obito with Baldy =Pain. People who generally support 1 theory actually don't support the other.

well avihai im in your side, it is not that i dont belive the theory but i wish that this theory slap the face of two or 300,000 people that belive in it. you and i know the good reasons behind why obito cant be tobi, but still theres is like 99.9% of probabilities that he is, Why? Coz kishimoto tend to do this type of things and he has shown that upon us in the past.

Examples:
Minato being naruto's father (why hide this fact to this point that even naruto doesn't know who his father or mother were,lame! , is like he himself wasn't even sure of handing the role of a father to minato)
Uchiha's powerless sharingan (it is said that is a technique born from the byakugan and yet is far far far more powerful, what that thing does not do?)
Killing Haku
and i dont know what more but these are the ones that upset me the most, as anime and manga fan i only can tell you that the only thing left is get ahold of your convictions to the very end and leave it like that XD coz people here are getting tired of this kind of thread (ROFLMAO)
