Thread: Why Sasuke will join Akatsuki [it's a prediction, like it or not]

Sasuke encounters Itachi. Itachi tells Sasuke about Madara and that he made Sasuke into an avenger to surpass him. Sasuke attacks and kills Itachi. Madara appears and taunts Sasuke.

And that justifies the reason for Sasuke to go after him to join ranks as a Akatsuki? Why would he join a organization that forced his dearly beloved brother's hand into killing all the Uchiha and responsible for taking his brother away from him? Using common sense Madara is an enemy and a eyesore to Sasuke then.

And provided Madara isn't a dumbass, he would know if Sasuke hates him enough to attempt a shot at his life. He then invites him to join his ranks? Why? Knowing he'll be killed by Sasuke if he choose to have him stick around within close range? I think if he did that he's taking the phrase "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer" a tad bit too literally.


If theres a guy you really like but you know he has a thing for sticking a kitchen knife through the back of your throat, do you go and befriend him and invite him to your tree(club)house? I think not.

However, I would believe your theory more IF and only IF Sasuke was forced to join the ranks against his wishes. I don't know what Madara can offer to get Sasuke to be obedient without attempting his life but if he has something that can be used to force his hand then Madara will do something to make him join if that was their original intent. Otherwise if Sasuke's eyes(literally) are the only thing they need then they'll just rip it out of his sockets and be done with Sasuke. Theres only a very limited things Sasuke might find attachments to. These things can possibly range from

Itachi?
Naruto?
Other Konohanians?

Well provided he still has a heart and a soft spot for them. Although recently he's been giving all of them the cold shoulder so maybe forcing his hands isn't possible even for Madara. A stupid suggestion might be, Madara builds a harem full of women in order to help Sasuke achieve his other goal to revive the Uchiha clan. Then it becomes a mutual negotiation but that idea is so ridiculous I would find the thought about as impossible as finding Sasuke being squashed to death when Gamabunta sits on him.

They need his Sharingan, yes. But they need him as well as it's his. Only him can perfect them, another guy with Sasuke's Sharingan cannot (you need Uchiha blood). Madara is taunting Sasuke to give Sasuke reason to hunt him, hence reason to strategically join Akatsuki (like he actually cares if Itachi was part of it or not after he already defeated his brother).

As mentioned above, they can't just them out. And force him or not, I still don't see why this isn't a plausible prediction. The thing about predictions is not arguing whether or not they'll happen, it's arguing their plausibility.

The main point of Naruto as a story is to make Sasuke show that he cares for bonds in the end. That's been the underlying message since the beginning. It's all about friendship. He will show Naruto his respect before the story ends. An ending I´d like would be if Sasuke takes his own life to end the existance of the Uchiha clan, though that would contradict his ambition to revive it.

Sasuke is (as any other emo guy in shonen) totally asexual. If he would have been a little loose, he could have already had a bunch of mini-Uchihas despite his young age. Karin has the hips for the job though. If Sasuke really wants to revive his clan, he'd make sure (to quote Dane Cook) that her vagina will look like Star Gate when he's done with it.

Lol your a funny person. Nice end quote and seeing your response I think I might agree to it to a degree. But still don't think find it just tiny bit odd for Sasuke to join the same group responsible for annhilation of Uchiha. It just seem to contradict his revenge somewhat

The only reason for Sasuke to join Madara/Tobi would be... family. That could be either Sasuke sees Madara/Tobi as part of the clan or Madara/Tobi threatens to take away Sasuke's nakama.

i think it's going to be interesting development if team hebi led by sasuke joined the akatsuki. it will give naruto manga a lot of twist,also i think sasuke will be the final enemy after he kills madara.

unless it turns out itachi didnt do it(the uchiha katana massacre);ryoga's theory wont come true.

I think it's not possible for Kishimoto to have a computer and NOT read this forum. It's pretty easily one of if not the biggest forum that talks about anime.

That being said I have to assume there is a good chance that he checks this forum if only to read the thread titles and leave.

I wouldn't be surprised if he took ideas from the people on this forum and actually did make Sasuke join Akatsuki. It would further the plot and lengthen the current arc a fair bit. There is always the chance though that because of Sasuke's personality that he won't accept any offer made by Akatsuki for him to join unless they proposed something like increasing his power similar to how Orochi got him to become his subordinate.

This is a long shot but I think it'd be pretty awkward and/or sweet if somehow Akatsuki decided to offer Sasuke the power of one of the tailed beasts in return for his joining the organization.

There are a lot of problems that go along with this that would need to be considered but if Kishimoto wants to turn this manga into a long ongoing rediculously epic manga then that would be a very good way to equal out the power difference between Naruto and Sasuke.

Naruto as he is now in my opinion is a fair match for Sasuke if Naruto were to use 4 tails. But now that we know he might be able to unleash even more of the Kyuubi's power I have to wonder how Kishimoto plans to make Sasuke capable of fighting against that. Kyuubi was a beast capable of defeating entire villages of highly skilled shinobi. By no means is Sasuke capable of defeating the full strength of Kyuubi if Naruto were ever able to harness it.

My only question to myself is, I wonder if this were to happen, which of the tailed beasts would Sasuke end up with, and which ones are already in use by members of Akatsuki if any?

With all due respect to Kane work and with all my love to Stoptazmo.com I need to say that this isn't the biggest forum talking about anime - I wouldn't even say its medium size... or maybe your talking about some different forum, then I apologize.

Not to mention that he probably doesn't know English well enough to care to look at this site, when there are likely much bigger sites in Japanese...
