What are you talking about, Kishimo gets his ideas from dreams like erm uhhh Moses! and all those other apostles God granted the gift of dream analysis.

On a serious note. I'd be surprised if anyone can create a story without some sort forms of inspiration to light the fire of thinking.

but as you well know, even if you imagine something that you think is original you might be disappointed because someone else already had that idea before you.
remember that comment of kishimoto's? he said he was about to do a story about a boy that learnt magic in some magic school only to find out after some time that a "so called harry potter novel" was released. he didn't read it but he dropped the project afterwards because of the huge similarity.
today, it's almost impossible to write or invent something original, so of course you get consciously or unconsciously influenced.
Yes, I read that. It was in one of the earlier volumes. But I`m not a supporter of scrapping projects just because of unintended similarities. The theme of Jericho was almost identical to my debuting novel but I didn't saw that series before months into process of my project. I got a little pissed because my idea wasn't as original as I thought, but also got inspired in ways to enhance my own debut by avoiding all the shit I didn't like about Jericho (which is a lot to be honest). But did it put me off? No, it made me develop further.

ha! plagerism... i hate the education system with their stupid rules on plagerism and stuff, you know they did it too when they were in school!

But original ideas, the definition of original should be like.. something that isn't done often isn't something that hasn't been done before

People love to see the same damn thing over and over again! Besides, a story must be recycled and then refined and improved, that's how a storyline always gets better

I wouldn't call it PLAGIARISM. It's just way too similar and specific for me to think that it's a coincidence or a case of 2 people just happening to have the same idea. I prefer to say that he was "inspired" lol. And he used the same movie twice.

Tobi being Madara = Kevin Spacey being Keyser
    Pains actions = Keysers actions

At least he picked a great movie

There's also a part That I remember from seeing Kung Fu Hustle
when how the Old guy putting his arm around the two "blind" villian, telling him that it's useless to fight against him and his wife.

well picture that with how Naruto met Sasuke during that
    Sai loves Orochimaru's Penis Arc

I also wouldn't called that plagiarism unless you see some of those corny Bollywood film
but If you can improve that movie/story better then the original/source
then it's ok in my book
