Thread: Obtaining Mangekyo Sharigan

Ok so Itachi tells sasuke that to obtain the MS you must kill you Best? Friend.

Now think about it, Itachi must have been 17-19ish when he kileld his mate, and clan. Do you really think he went to the uchiha library and looked up and saw Ah... if I kill my friend then, I can be awesome. I doubt that they would have a book, so then could he have heard of it by rumors, but would the clan realyl want the rumor, Kill your mate and you can get a wicked sharigan going round? I doubt it. So mabye, for whatever reason Itachi slayed the clan for, he didnt actually know he was gonna get MS, mabye he got in a fight with his mate, got MS then wondered what would happen if he killed the rest? He may not know why exactly he got it and mabye thats why Kakashi has it alos, ( I know Kakashi has a sligtly different one - and mabye it has different requiremtns ) So itachi just tell sasuke the onyl way he knows, mabye thats not exaclty right.

This post has no relavence to anythign and is just speculation, just wanted to share the idea.

And he went to the secret clan meetings and he saw what was in the shrine, he knew what was going on, I doubt that he operated just on a rumor, and it doesn't seem like something so secret that it would have been kept from a little kid (Sasuke) when he asked about it.

it should be on the wall in the uchiha clan temple its suppose to have the history of the uchiha clan there so it should also say how to obtain ms

Ever heard or seen body of dead Shisui? did the Uchiha clan confirm his dead body or did they just realize he went MIA? if its latter what are the chances of Shisui being alive now and leading the very evil organization known as Akatsuki? They emphasized that Shisui was one of the best Uchiha around at the time with the exception of Itachi, what are the chances of Shisui since he must have also attended the clan meetings inherited the ultimate sharingan to replace his own and had Madara's eyes.

And now thinking logically, ofcourse theres more ways to activate a MS. We've seen Kakashi do it and he obtained the MS long after Obito was killed if that can be considered killing a friend. Theres more ways to unlock a MS, Itachi just probably told Sasuke to kill Naruto to release the Kyuubi since without hosts they are much easier to handle.

yeah why always bringing the dead onces back in game only do that with obito !

he joined akatsuki for the same reason he gave sasuke:to test his capacity.probably intends to challenge pein.and tobi too.

don't think there's much sense in shisui being alive... from the events that have just occurred...

especially now that we know that tobi was the 3rd person capable of obtaining the MS...unless tobi really is shisui, however seems more likely to be madara...
