Thread: Deus ex machina...

I've gotta say, Im getting kind of annoyed with some of the situations in naruto. For anyone who doesn't know, god from the machine describes an event in a storyline where for seemingly no reason a situation is resolved. Happens alot in sci fi when something makes no sense and they use the phrase, "thank god we invented the so and so, or thank god jim had his disruptor shield or whatever."

I am starting to get annoyed with alot of the naruto situations since these random assed jutsus get pulled that will save a character for no reason and it ruins the suspense. Im thinking most recently when sasuke fought with the akatsuki. It was so predictable, the comic sets it up like the demolitions master, I forgot his name I think Daedara, was going to unleash his ultimate jutsu and I'm just saying in my head oh sasuke will obviously escape because of a dumb jutsu. Then they pretend sasuke was blown up and of course anyone whose read this comic knows right away its bs, and then all of a sudden sasuke appears and says oh I just opened upa giant snake, hypnotized him jumped in his body, teleported him and voila gotta love those time space dimensional vortexes. I know this is kinda understandable but it happens so much. Every time I see a character die now, theres no suspense because i KNOW its going to be a damn jutsu clone. Everytime theres and explosion I KNOW the character just teleported. I loved the begining of the series when they'd actually explaint he mechanics or show the thoughts of the characters as they fought or escaped giving it some sense.

Iunno, I know I'm ranting but its because I love this comic and its making me suspend disbelief more and more and it really has become formulaic. Christ, Orochimaru isnt even dead, kabuto just randomly appears and is like watsup dudes I grafted a corpses arm on my severed arm and shebang now Im being possesed by his dead soul WTF. Heck I was able to predict all the fights since naruto grew older and I mean PREDICT, like every aspect, when he'd clone, how he'd lose, how he'd unleash some new jutsu and how hed make a comeback. Anyway sorry bout the rant, its just I hate to see a manga I love start to lose quality (INMO) anyone thoughts?

thats the only reason why it makes the manga unique. its predictable none the less thats what makes it great. the great escapes. the plots are set onto future plots. for example. if sasuke were to die to deidara what would be the point of him existing in the beginning to now? his motive was deeply described by only getting revenge on his older brother. he became the best friend of the main character. and sasuke's plot is one of the most mysterious yet interesting plots besides from nartuo's past and akatsuki's history. the story up till now gives characters deep development, there wouldn't be a point if they were to be killed so easily. if you trully want an "unpredictable" manga go read gantz, the main characters die left and right. and pretty much anything can happen.

The whole point of those situations is suspense if you can predict every single outcome it ruins it a bit. Like why bother with an all powerfull jutsu if theyre gonna have him escape it in sucha bland manner. They should of had him use his head and fight it in some clever way. A comic should show the escape or hide it in the hopes of tricking the reader. My point is theres no way of tricking the reader witht he simplistic formula kishimoto has setup. Can't remember the last time I was surprised witha good plot twist in naruto.

don't double post. its a manga by Kishimoto so he does what he wants in the manga. If he decides that Sasuke should live then he will and if he decides Naruto should die then he will.

I think having main characters having magical hax up their sleeves to save their asses isn't a very uncommon thing, especially in a shounen manga where no truly major character will die.

OK THIS IS GONNA BE A LONG POST SINCE ALL I HAVE READ.

FIRST: our friend Samonoske i not trying to get sasuke killed or anything everyone who has posted believe so, but i get his point, he is tired off all the lame jutsu that people make to escape of horribles and devastating killer jutsu that seems to no be able to escape easily or better said, they dont seem to let you escape at all. They kinda "puff" smoke and get out easily. just for short.

SECOND: jjhjjh, i dont saying that samonoske has to make a double post, but this time (ROFLMAO) it deserved im still getting tears of my eyes by the thing that NoLiMiTAzN36 said, DAMN THAT CRAKED ME UP. It really deserved that post with the suspensive like looking him and nooding side to side, like this movie Eurotrip when the main thinks he got drug by a fudge and the rastafari brother that is in the service table is nooding at him with that serious face, GOD JUST IMAGINE XDDDDD LOL; ROFLMAO LMAO and all that.

THIRD: Complicated plot my 4$$ sasuke plot is the lamest plot in the whole series i would a hundred times bet for and watch ino's, Deidara's, orochimaru's (that is sasuke just more older and without sharingan which make it more interesting) plot than sasuke the demigod. Its a piece of $h17, just check, Itachi didn't kill all the uchiha for fun or for testing sharingan, he did it coz(plot secret) kishimoto can't have all those gods walking on earth, the series would end named as UCHIHA than NARUTO, we have all seen what a sharingan can do so easily with the whole uchiha alive itachi would ended up death, i still have my doubt that even with mangekyu cr4p he could defeat a WHOLE VILLIAGE WITH SHARINGAN, EVEN WOMEN HAD SHARINGAN LOL IT WAS NOT LIKE SAYAN IN DRAGON BALL THAT PAN COULNT GET TO SAYAN STATE, so kishimoto simply killed every uchiha so only 1 absolute god, 1 god and 1 potential god walked on earth and kill each other and so, but is pure c24p sorry to who i offend its not with that intention.

FOURTH: i could name a lot of interesting plots that i would want to see damn i even would pay for them:
-Hoshigaki
-Deidara
-More about kakashi past
-Shino
-Suigetsu
-the new chick with sasuke
-Anko
-Hidan
-Minato
I could go. its just for the uchiha fans that would say after this: "who's plot would be better to see than sasuke-kun-chan's (with a really girlie voice)

FIFTH: I get that main's have tricks, but sasuke's trick was a piece of trash, you want to see a original and suprising trick off the sleeve of a main in the same series a real trick? Naruto's in his combat VS Negi, THAT WAS A TRICK, but what you say is truth urameshi-sama, i just want to pint that could be more original than hypnotizing a snake and teleport is more like DBZ thing.

SIXTH: In the end even with all what i said im going to be a mangaka when i grown a little more, and i would try to make good plots, But Samonoske, as jjhjjh said its a manga by kishimoto and if he wants to make it like this, well, we are not the one's paying him directly so he does as he please and we have to withstand this whole thing, i even dont like naruto anymore, im just seeing it coz i dont like to let unfinished plots, if i start it i end it, im of the opinion that naruto's plot went good til the final of the chuunin test, after that is all predictable.

But yet again is kishimoto manga not ours, so we have to withstand, i didnt have to write all this but nolimitanz reply got me a little inspired. hehehehe, so people, this reply was not meant to offend no one i dont want to get to bad terms with any of you, damn you could be the people criticizing one of my plot in the future, but there are things that one cannot shut.

by the way my favorite character is shikamaru, i cheer up for normal the more normal people the more common ones xD

you are mistaken
the sharingan was something uncommon even among the uchiha clan
that was about the first thing sasuke said about it when kakashi revealed his
my point is.. there never was any VILLAGE full of sharingan users
it's more a handfull of sharingan users plus potential sharingan wannabes

The Sharingan wasn't just somehting that everybody could have..
But I agree with some of you here..We can easily predict when its a clone or who's going to die in a battle..But thats not a bad thing. Its imposible to make a manga where everything is unpredictable..

Cant see why this bother you guys so much. I loved that Sasuke escaped the explosion by summening Manda (Think his name is..) It just shows that he has grown in strength..But yeah, the whole opened up a giant snake, hypnotized him jumped in his body, teleported him might be a bit of an overkill i the manga..they should just stick with complex jutsus instead of something like this..
