I was just wondering cause I may or may not have weird pronunciations for everything Naruto-related.
Hokage = Ho-kej
Akatsuki = A-cat-su-ki
I dunno, I just don't pronounce stuff the same way as the japanese do.
Anyone else do this?

I pronounce it like I read it. Also, by how everyone else in the anime pronounces those same things.
I pronounce staff the same way japanese people pronounce it. Otherwise it sounds retarded and different from the actual thing, which is the main point why it should be the same.. imo.
I've never actually talked about it so I don't need to pronounce it. but I'd call Akatsuki =A-cat-su-ki too.
I'd feels stupid saying it like the japanese do.. so I say it how I read it.
I pronounce it the correct way
i pronounce the stuff like this:
Naruto = Na ru to
Akatsuki = A kat suki
Hokage = Ho ka ge
Hinata = Hi na ta
One Piece = One Piece
Retarded Question = Re tar ded Que sti on

Writing it hard to describe on how you pronounce..
My friends, whose english is not the first language..
Pronounce "Knight"
as "KI - NAI - GUI - TI"
While the right way would be for me "nái - ti"
The way I can pronounce "NI" can be totaly diferent from you, thats why I said its hard to write how you pronounce.
But I aways take the Japanese way of saying, that because comming from a portugese speaker I can pronounce better.
(Portuguese speaker people can produce every single japanese sound easily, while I do have problems with some sounds in english, I have to fake the pronunciation so it is just not natural.)
"Chile is a thin and tall country"
Yeah like in Full Metal Alchemist, they pronounce the names with too many sylabols. like Edward. They say eh-du-wa-ru-do-kun. They say Lust as Ru-sa-to. Gluttony as Gu-ru-to-ni. and Sloth as Su-ro-su.
