Thread: Pein [Spoiler]

The idea of Pein being Naruto's relative has been increased exponentionally because of Chapter 367. From what we read, Jiraiya and Tsunade were both reminiscing about how Naruto looks like the Fourth and how similar Naruto was to Kushina Uzumaki. They were describing how she was tomboyish with her red hair and all....

So gathering from all this, Pein looks similar to Naruto. But he's also got the auburn/ginger colored hair. This might also be backed up with Kushina's red hair.

Anyway, I know I have been throwing the idea around, saying that Pein might be Naruto's brother/uncle/second cousin.... Some of you might agree, disagree, or just not give a shit. I just want to know what the whole forum thinks about the story's situation is. Thoughts would also be appreciated.

Naruto will finally find a living relative, and they even happen to have the same life goal, to become the leader of a group of meta-human mercenary ninja.

my guess is they're brothers.. i sure hope they aren't related at all... but well same with yondaime, right?
we always knew somehow but tried to deny it cuz it always felt "too early"
but now.. it's like the manga is coming to end

Um im guessing kushina is the mom of naruto which is why uzumaki is the name. he took his moms name like how the elric brothers took their moms name

the whole brother against brother thing has been played out with sasuke and itachi. I don't think yondaime was old enough to have a kid thats maybe 20+ years old

Thats why maybe it could be cousin. Or uncle. Hmm I think your thinking too far on this. Just because they lok the same.

So basically, you just don't want Naruto to end?

And, I realised that the chance that the 4th might be narutos dad before Kakashi gaiden and I also seem to be one of the few who doesn't dislike it. As it's a factor that brings some more depth into why Naruto was picked for the Kyuubi.

Also the hair colour argument isn't a valid argument here.
As the genes for hair colour doesn't work in the way that they just mix, but rather they are, like eyes, dominant and non dominant. So it would most likely be One of the other. Sure might be undominant hidden that comes up due to circumstances. But Red and Blond hair wouldn't just mix into auburn/ginger. Esp when auburn mostly is counted as a brownish colour with a red "glow".
