Thread: So, considering naruto's dad [spoiler]

now that we know it's the fourth definitely, do you think he knew that his father was the fourth hokage or do you think that the village was really really sadistic and stupid and told him you have no parents and that there was no relation between the two?

I don't think he knew because this would be the perfect oppertunity for him to get all his motivation. He would go around saying "I'm gonna be just like my father" or when questioned about how he could be hokage he prob. would have said smthing like, "my father did it and so can I" or "Look I already masteres Rasengan just like him".

It makes you wonder, if he didn't know and the village didn't say smthing like he's dead, why naruto would be so interested in having a brother who was not blood related but not in finding out who his father was.

from what we know about minato he was a very respected man.. a GENIUS

and naruto.. well he was despised for being the jinchuuriki

that doesn't really add.. i think the common villagers didn't even know about their relation in the first place... classified info perhaps
maybe to protect naruto and/or other relatives (from hostile countries)

I think he knows about the Uzumaki lineage and who his mother is, but about his father, I`m not really sure. Would be weird if the third never told him as a kid though. Also if the people knew about him being the fourth's son, would he still have been so hated during his growth?

Also, the reason why he has his mother's last name when it's much more common to inherit the father's, might be to hide his relationship with the fourth, or just his birth was a mistake and Naruto's parents weren't really together.

watever happened to his mom? Did she die during childbirth? I mean, for Naruto to be in Konoha, his mom must have given birth to him there. Also, she's from a different village, so she could have taken him back to her village. I think Naruto's mom definitely died during childbirth.

I guess since Gaara went throught the same thing, I suppose Naruto's mom is dead too. Pein is just being a spiteful bastard.

yeah, i was just about to to ask about the name inheritance. i wonder what naruto's reaction will be when he'll find out.

I foresee a side-story on naruto's mother and probably the 4th.

She was probably a refugee, since she came to the hidden leaf village as a child.

I think it was done when he was given birth.
