Couldn't agree more. This was one for the books. Nothing epic, but it was, to say the least, a much needed change.

Kakashi's taking a HELL of a long time. I was hoping to see his MS, but aside from that, the animation and pacing were good.
Oh, and it gives the impression that team Gai is just sitting around doing nothing during this time.
I agree it was a really good change can't wait for kakashi's mangekyou sharingan.

yup, good change. the fights were really good!! those puppets were moving fast, the animation was better.
I agree. This episode is much better than the last ones. Finally get to see some fast and cool fighting skills and combo. But I am hoping the plot can still run a little faster though
This episode was faster than the others, but still a pain. Last time Kakashi was about to xhow up his new dojutsu and then he stopped, now he was shown for something like a second and then just Sakura's fight. If you remember in the anime that was shown before the timeskip and the fillers, the fights in the manga were represented faster in the anime, while the dialogues were the parts when the anime was a bit slower (in terms of pages that were represented, the pages with chit chat were longer in the anime, while the fights were faster, like the one between Naruto and Gaara that took two or three episodes, not more). Now, this one was an episode of pure fight, with just a couple of lines of dialogue somewhere. In the old anime ti would have taken ten minutes, now they have made it into an entire episode. I really don't see this much of a difference since last time. I hope that at least in the next episode we will see the MS.

I'm glad that at least they have the same animator that did the naruto vs sasuke fights, among a few others, take care of shippuden's best.
It's a shame he wont be staying....now im just looking forward to:
-Kakashi's MS
-Naruto kicking deidara's ass
-naruto vs orochimaru
-and whatever may come after, sasuke vs itachi, jiraiya vs anyone that kills him.....
