How come the topic hasn't been created yet?

Anyway, the episode started with Sakura having 3 minutes to go before the antidote would run out. 17 minutes into the episode, she only had 2 minutes left. For those that complaints about the pace of the anime, this must have been laughable, right?

UN-believable! Although having said that, I saw it coming at the end of 24 when I saw they'd named the episode after it. 3 minutes? Sure, they take an ENTIRE EPISODE to make the point "Sakura and Chiyo have 3 minutes left".

All the Sakura/Chiyo stuff was a huge waste. They did NOTHING. Well, at least this solves one problem I've been pondering ever since the end of Final Fantasy VIII- I finally understand what "time compression" is. It's an amazing technique developed by the sorceress Ultimecia to allow people to fit an entire 22-minute episode of Naruto into a period of less than 1 minute. The revelation of Sasori's true form was a bit disappointing too, especially as Chiyo had dropped massive hints about it earlier (sure, the hints were in the manga as well, but they weren't as overemphasised). And as for the poison on his weapons, it just looked silly. He looked as though he'd been dunked in grape juice.

Surprisingly, the stuff with Kakashi and Naruto was actually not that bad- it's good to see Deidara being a bit more proactive than just running endlessly, and the weird expressions he makes during the episode are actually quite funny. Mind it, it was still utterly pointless as it didn't do a single thing to move the plot forward since he completely failed to separate Naruto from Kakashi after all. Also, I was under the impression before that Deidara controlled all his bombs manually, rather than them acting under artificial intelligence as seen here. So, no real points scored here after all.

But the bonus section at the end was actually really good, especially getting to see Sasori actually working on Hiruko. But ultimately, this was yet another total rubbish episode. I am THIS CLOSE to giving up on Shippuden altogether- it all depends on the next episode. However, judging by the preview, it'll take them all episode for Chiyo to pull out her 10 puppets and Sasori will only produce his 100 right at the very end. And it'll be lame <sigh>.

Im just waiting for Kakashi to activate the Mangekyo Sharingan

Episode was essentially pointless except, but that short thing after the preview was actually kinda cool. Sasori continues to look weirder and weirder. Even his hair color changed.

At least the animation got better slightly. I was looking forward to the Sasori fight, but after this episode, I just want this entire arc to end.

Sakura was sleeping then suddenly she smashed the toy into one thousands pieces.......... that was the most laughable part.

Dont forget about the episode titles: three minuets between life and dead , Sasori Face ..........

And about the opening and ending. Is it kind of advertisement for the new movie?

Seriously, how they actually managed to drag out a supposedly '3 minute battle' for an entire episode totally eludes me... >.<

WHY WHY WHY is this anime so slooooow???? T.T wasting my life away watching it and i must watch it as well..... ~sigh~

This one was so much better.

I rater have slow episodes instead of fillers. Bleach went to fillers like for 40 episodes, came back to the story, and less than 20 episodes later we're in fillers again, that kills me.

Lets just stick to this episode specifically for now. We've had this filler v slower ep discussion before.
