in the maga it just says that those were the first puppets he made. he does not state that those are normal ones but i guess you're right since he was so young and unexperienced at that time, he couldn't have made them from real bodies anyway

no it shows that sasori makes the puppet from the pieces of malfunctioning puppets.

On the manga there is no such reference.

Only thing that is said is Sasori tells that he knows thoses puppets inside out and Chiyo saying them can't be compared to Human Puppets (Thoses are normal puppets)

This then begs the question: if Father and Mother are just normal puppets, without the incorporated chakra of their originals, how did Chiyo install chakra shields in them? Are they powered by Chiyo's own chakra down the chakra strings? If so, can puppets perform jutsu like ninja if they're capable of forming the seals on the puppet master's behalf?

Not that I'm saying they're NOT normal puppets. I'm just pointing out a mistake (or alternatively, exploring an interesting concept).

Normal pupets can't perform jutsus because of the lack of chakra mix thing..
