^The only thing that was alike was the fighting style with the clone. The clones didn't show any communication skill so the teamwork should work.
Also, I didn't say it would necessarily work. I said its the most obvious answer, because I don't remember that happening in the manga. Anyways, my mian point was that the fights have been dragged on in the anime much longer than in the manga.

Fortunately I see from the resoults above that I am not the only one bored because this develop thet was clearly done with the dropper: They extend anything, even Sakura's "already extra long in the manga" fight, and they ruin the mood because it means a month from the beginning to the end and someone can be tired with the fact of waiting for a whole week for something where therisn't any real progress at all: it's just like in some episodes of DBZ, you can skip even six-seven episodes without really losing a part of the plot.

Two things I didn't like about this episode. First of all, the clone fight took half the episode just to show that they all heard the bang. It was pre-bang fighting, the bang and post-bang reaction x 4. And after the commercial break they reviewed unnecessary monologue to extend the episode.

Amen to that. That was the most blatant rehash in the history of Naruto, if not the history of anime, made all the worse by the fact that the fansub doesn't HAVE a commercial break (Naruto doesn't even use eyecatches!) But there was a lot more I hated about this episode.

There were some good parts to this episode. The teaser sequence of Sakura's fight was easily the best bit of action in the episode, the final blow where Sakura smashed the Kazekage was actually quite good (or would have been if the pieces didn't start floating in the air the instant she destroyed it) and the bonus Ino-Shika-Cho material at the end was one of the more interesting extras they've had so far. Which is why I merely gave this episode the lowest possible rating, rather than finding it necessary to create all-new words for suckiness to describe the REST of the episode.

The animation has officially reached the level of UTTER GARBAGE. The sequence where Gai was fighting his clone was so appallingly bad that it physically hurt; I was wincing from the pain of the awful, clumsily drawn 3-frame loop that hopped around the screen like a paper cutout being slid around. The other 3 weren't QUITE so bad, they merely sucked. And how long is this trench that Naruto and Kakashi are running down anyway? I'm expecting Darth Vader to fly up behind them any moment and shoot Kakashi down (until Sasuke flies in from nowhere and blows him away).

The santetsu kaihou was better than I was expecting. However, that means nothing, since I was expecting them to foul it up completely- it was still a HUGE disappointment compared to the manga. Imagine how cool an attack like that would have looked if the series was being made by a REAL animation studio like Gonzo or BONES- or ANY studio prepared to use CG animation for it. Yeah, that would have rocked.

Far worse was the pacing. Spending the first half of the episode on Gai's team fighting their clones (on a 500 yen animation budget) and noticing the cavern collapsing was the biggest waste of time in the ENTIRE SERIES. It served not the SLIGHTEST purpose whatsoever except to waste time- we already KNOW the cavern has collapsed since we already saw it in the teaser and there's no point in Gai's team finding out since they aren't going to contribute anything to the fight. So it was literally nothing more than an excuse to waste time. Shame on them!

It's pointless discussing how Team Gai could beat their clones because it's SUPPOSED to be a non-issue. In the manga, they simply beat the clones by virtue of copies being no match for an original- it wasn't a big deal and Kishimoto wasn't stuppid enough to waste endless pages on it. But Pierrot just haven't got a clue- at the very least if they're going to waste time on this crap the least they could do is show the originals slowly gaining the upper hand over the fakes, landing a few blows, leading up to their eventual victory. But no, every scene is just the pairs going at each other in lazily animated stalemate, except the fakes appear to be doing better since they don't get tired. It's pathetic, serving no purpose and generating exactly zero interest.

I've seen 25 as well. When even Dattebayo say that it sucks in the opening credits, you know things aren't going to be good. But at least Team Gai didn't get so much as a cameo in it, which is good.

Top ten reasons why NaruHina will become canon:
    7. Naruto saw Hinata dancing naked in a waterfall, and he totally digs that.
    10. Hinata has giant boobies.

i have a question ....those 5 kin tags that made the barrier...4 of them were removed by the gai team and created clones but the 5th was removed by kakashi but there wasn't any clone created. those tags were identical so...how come ?

Would be pointless to add another little delay..
Kakashi, naruto, Chiyo, Sakura were there.
Any clone that would appear would be instanly killed off by them.

Plus we could say that kakashi's sharingan removed the trap! Another hidden property of sharingan

    oh right...hmmm...whatever...
oh, and before i forget. there's another thing though i might be mistaken here: sasori's father was supposed to be killed by the white fang of konoha, right? but the puppet sasori initially made from his father (that is now controlled by chiyo) conserves his chakra that means it was made from a living body.
.........or maybe kakashi's father just injured him and he actually died by sasori's hands or something?

His parents are normal puppets, he himself states that.

    The puppets just resemble them
