Thread: Can a Bunshin Create a Bunshin?

Can a bunshin create a bunshin? I've never clearly found the answer to that.

well a normal bushin cant but a kagebushin has a part of the owners chakra, so maybe he can, but we'll only know for sure when we saw it^^

Kage Bunshins can do anything the original one does so it should work. But that would clearly weaken the Bunshin further because it is redistributing its own limited amount of chakra... that's why they're so easy to get rid off.

well actually it's pretty clear isn't it?
kage-bunshin-no-jutsu creates ACTUAL copies, NOT illusions
they can perform jutsus on their own.. eg harem-no-jutusu (henge-no-jutsu)
so what makes you think they can't do bunshins? oO

can clones create more clones, my answer is no simply because Pain's technique of making another guy into him is more of an advanced form of shadow clones, and only something like that can use the techniques of the original. If the normal clones can use the techniques of the original, then that reduces the uniqueness of Pein's technique.

Pein technique copy blodline limit kagebunshin doesnt or so it seems.

The Clone bloodline techniques just like the original, otherwise Kakahi's Bushin wouldn't have sharingan, would they?

The difference from Pain Shapeshift and Kage Bushin is.

Shapeshift: You can set any ammount of chakra to give to the Clone, while Kagebushin its aways a set ammount depending on the quantity of clones

Since Shapeshift uses a real body to create a clone, the clone sustain alot more damage then a kage bushin.

Shapeshift makes the clone like a "puppet" being controled by the Origin.
Kagebushin have aparently a set "AI" where it does a task assigned and has a mind of its own

exactly! i agree with you, completely!


btw regarding paines clone-jutsu:
i like the idea behind it.. it's actually pretty awesome when used right
1st step: get a ninja
2nd step: make him your puppet-clone (a really strong one, giving him almost all of your chakra)
3rd step: use henge to make the clone look like the original body
4th step: get a friggin akatsuki cloak
5th step: pull your strings from your super villain hideout and don't worry about dying since no one knows how you actually look like
plus: you can't die - if somebody managed to kill your clone they certainly wouldn't suspect anything like this since the corpse would match the person they killed

another naruto movie plot? xD

At first i missunderstood u, but now that im a little more awake, thats a good idea, all member should do that to keep everything a secret.

You forgot to mention that the shapeshift can be a clone of anyone and not just limited to Pein. I dont understand why Pein doesnt just have everyone give 99% chakra and then send 6 clones to rape everyone but I guess that would be the end of the story. =/
