Thread: My God, this anime is now crap

I got bored with Shippuden after the first episode--more speciaifcally, after the first 5 minutes. The last good ones were 133 and 134, the last 2 eps in Naruto vs. Sasuke III. But having episodes like that, which were hypnotically immersive despite being based on material I'd read to death, were few and far between.

That's why I only watched sporadically after the Chunnin Exam ended. And that's why I don't watch Shippuden--it's about as entralling as the better filler episodes.

I've been watching the anime and reading the manga. What I've been wondering is why are they taking so long to do everything in the anime? I mean it's going to take 10 freaking years for it to catch up to the current arc in the manga. Thats why I'm losing interest in the anime

^Its not going to catch up to the manga till the manga ends at the rate its going right now (we calculated it).

^ That was probably the plan from the get go, considering how it's paced like molasses despite coming out on a One Piece schedule. I just find it funny that One Piece is moving just as slowly but is much more enjoyable to watch--and by "much more", I mean "actually is".

I stopped watchin' Naruto when Shippuden came out. Then I downloaded the recent special to see where it was at and they're still fighting Sasori. Deidara flew around the screen for the whole 2 episodes...WTF!?

lol i started watching, realized how crappy it was, but I'd waited about 2 yrs for the fillers to end so i persevered, got to the gaara fight ep 3 i think, after that i just laughed & shift deleted it off my pc.

^You waited for 2 years....I didn't even start the anime till last December. It must have been a painful wait for you.

IIRC from my topic, while back, when fillers were still running.. should take about 3years and some about 4-7 months to catch up to the manga again.

lol Urameshi, i started when 96 came out, a while before the fillers even began, this section used to swarm with people bitching about the fillers & when they end, alot of people were sure they never would & naruto would just keep getting milked, then they ended & the eps were even worse then some of the fillers. wow i was bleak
