I do recall seeing flower (hippie) ninja's in the fillers... but there is no official or speculated location of their village.

maybe i'm on something, but this theory popped out of nowhere...lemme explain further... >_<

i could've swore that i saw on wikipedia that zetsu was from the hidden village of grass - that's probably where i got hanagakure from. ne ways...i was talking about the 1st and 2nd hokage and people with actual blood limits. people with specialized jutsus, such as ino's, shikamaru's, chouji's, are not blood limits and could have sprouted from konoha or some place else. people do move around.

however, blood limits such as the sharingan and the byakugan could take generations. if the 1st and 2nd hokage started konoha, it could be no older than a little over 100 years old, since tsunade is like 50 plus, guessing that her father was 20ish and the 1st was around 20-30ish when he started a family.

could a blood limit really be created/mastered/spread out in a course of a little over 100+ years? maybe it's just me being skeptical, but to think that all these blood limits (mutations) sprouted about in a little over 100 year period, seems kind of unlikely to me.

zetsu + tobi/madara theory

i think that tobi and zetsu are from the same village (whether it be grass or flower) because they seem to travel around the same way (through the ground/plants) and have split personalities. i think that having split personalities is a trait (or perhaps specialized jutsu) that was created in the hidden flower or grass village. what it does - i can't say, but zetsu's other half spoke in hiragana while the other in katakana, opposites (sort of), while tobi's other half, supposed madara, spoke very serious/arrogant, the totally opposite of tobi's happy go-lucky attitude.

so, since tobi MIGHT be madara and in my theory, madara and the 1st and 2nd hokage are originally from the same village (hidden grass or hidden flower), the 1st and 2nd hokage ARE from the hidden grass or flower, by association.

i don't know if that makes sense to other ppl, but it makes sense to me.

either way, my theory could be wrong, but it is just that, a theory, NOT FACT.

i just have to back it up with more facts.

1st and 2nd were brothers, but 2nd didn't had any of 1st techiniques
So either they weren't really brothers by blood, or 1st was just special.
Its very strange that the 1st had two super powers that the second didnd't
- Create wood
- Control Bijus

It would be VERY logical to at least pass down how to "control Bijus" to the next Kage..

It wasn't passed down probably because that was some kekkei genkai, thus, if second didn't had, tsunade doesn't have, 2nd wasn't 1st real brother.

And they could have came from totaly diferent villages.

I think they were lovers... but people at that time wouldn't accept a gay hokage, so they staged saying they were brothers =p thats why they slept together

btw, isn't wood type jutsus a combination of two different types of chakras - earth and water?

the 2nd hokage could make water come out of nothing, and kisame could, too. perhaps this is a learned ability.

maybe the 1st and 2nd hokage could control both water chakra, but the 1st hokage was better at combining chakras - therefore able to use wood type techniques.

i mean, you aren't limited to just one type of chakra. kakashi/sasuke/itachi use many different types of chakra types because of the sharingan. even the 3rd hokage was able to use at least two types. in fact, isn't being able to use two different types of chakra a requirement to become jounin? if you are required to be able to use two types, what would stop you from being able to use more than that?

jutsus are based on chakra control right? if you know the right seals and are able to mold it right - then you are able to use that technique. knowledge of a technique is usually isolated to that village, but it is possible for other villages to learn/augment these techniques, with sharingan users/the 3rd as my examples.

maybe bijuu control is linked to wood type jutsus or ability to control several types of chakras. it may or may not be something that is passed. not all genetic traits are passed on equally among descendents, whether they are good or bad. i know it was a filler, but look at kurenai's clan - not everyone in her family received the ability to use genjutsu on the same level as that little girl.

Nope, the mixing two elemental things seems to be a Kekkei genkai.

Yamato was created exactly because of that. Replicate the ability to use Wood teckniques.

Its show on Haku also, his parents getting worried because he could do it too
