Yes or no?
It seems like the theory that the blue haired member of Akatsuki was the 4th's teammate was always one of the theories that people at least tolerated (it's one of my favorite theories that had no direct evidence backing it, the other being "Sasori is alive"):

So I guess it's won't be too surprising to most people if that is actually the case.
I think this theory after the newest chapter is true. Really the do look so similar it would be odd if they are not one and the same.
it really would matter, no one kishimoto seems to not have interest in this character if so, he would talk about her in a way or another at least telling her name, i dont care if she is her or not but, IT WOULD REALLY MATTER?

Well, does the hair colour matter? The other picture isn't in colour, either. (What colour did they make it in the anime? Black? Blue?)
I'm not a rabid supporter, but I wouldn't object if this happened. As long as she has some cool techniques. And she should, being in Akatsuki.
