Thread: what do you think about Itachi?

I had this thought about Itachi reactions:
why did Itachi spare sasuke?
what if he didn't spare sasuke life but saved sasuke life. Here is the deal (my opinion), The AL killed the uchiha clan because Itachi refused to join him, and told Itachi that if he didn't join him he will kill sasuke also. So Itachi saved Sasuke because he saw the potential in sasuke and that he will someday avenge and defeat the AL. He also wanted to give Sasuke and Naruto the time to grow and develop, because he think that both of them are the only hope.

This my opinion based on Itachi reaction when he heard about sasuke killing orchi, and when deidara and obito are assigned to kill sasuke. Also when he fought Naruto with his 30% clone, he said that Naruto improved alot, but he didn't say, because of that he should capture the Kyuubi fast. He also didn't share it with Kisame about Naruto improvements.

Does anyone feel the same thing, or have another opinion?

The following is my opion.

The reason why he spared Sauske as i see it goes like this... Itachi wanted to die in a fight. In his mind the only people able to do this is somone from his own clan so he killed in hopes one would kill him. After about half way threw he came to a realization that no one could chalenge him much less kill him, ecept maybe Sauske when he grows up so then he started him down this "avenger" path hoping he would kill his best friend get the same eyes and than beat/kill Itachi when fully grown. Unfotunetly Sauske Sucks and will never be able to do this.
As far as my opion of him.... He sucks and i cant wait for him to die or atleast get beat down like the F&%king Bitch he is.

i think there is a thread about this that died long ago. anyway there was a theory that madara uchiha possessed itachi long ago and madara wanted to kill his own clan to be the only one with the sharingan but itachi saw the potential in sasuke so he made it that sasuke would be the one to kill him and set him free from the possession of madara. or something like that.

that or the theory of 3 MS users to release some king Tengu

the uchiha race have a short lifespan, they are forever doomed to die due to blindness and brain deformity, cos their eyes are actually genetic infections passed on from generations to generations, the infection would soon infect their brains! itachi, believe that their noble race should not die this way, and thus ended their misery, while killing the clan members, he thought that maybe theres a cure, at such an untimely moment seeing how he already wiped out most of them with only his brother left. itachi then joined up with the organization named akatsuki, founded by a very smart professor who he hopes would one day find a cure to rid him of their ginetic heritage

It's simple really, itachi destroyed the uchiha clan to test himself against all the other sharingan users, the people who are, in their own opinion, far beyond any other genius, he spared sasuke because he saw in him the potential to become one of the strongest shinobi in existence and hence a valid yardstick for his own powers.

hmm my opinion on itachi...I LOVE HIM ^////^ hes smexeh.. its one thing to look hot..its another to be evil while doing it! now...im not gay in any sense..but you can't over look the fact that he loves sasuke despite what he says..he may torture and beat the living crap out of him but he still leaves him alive to try and take revenge...failed over and over!

I honestly think Itachi has some ulterior motive. As a matter of fact, I'm willing to go as far to say he didn't do it....

I think Itachi and old Gaara has some similarities.As old Gaara did,Itachi wanted to acknowledge his existence by means of causing death.But,unlike old gaara,he
also wanted to test his uberskills.When he realized that the Uchiha clan is not even a possible challange to him,he spared Sasuke with the hope of creating a challange for himself.
