Thread: what do you think about Itachi?

Itachi is .....self obsessed........ gotta say he's still kickass though

This is an old discussion and theres many good theories about why Itachi didn't kill Sasuke. Unfortunately, we have nothing to substantiate these theories because Itachi remains almost as big a question mark as Yondaime and the unknown Akatsuki members (bluehair, leader).

We don't know how much of Itachi's early actions were legitemate indicators of his personality (since he said he was faking to give the clan a little peace of mind) and of the few incidences involving Itachi, we really haven't been able to guage his emotions in a consistent way.

what do you think about Itachi?

I read through all the comments and I still can't believe I read the one about Sasuke discovering that Itachi is his best friend. Just a big wtf there.

Itachi killed the clan to test his abilities and let Sasuke live because Sasuke was too weak to do anything and it would be a waste of Itachi's time to kill Sasuke. Plus, Itachi might want someone worth fighting and maybe Sasuke in his over-powered abilities can do that.

I'm not a big fan of Itachi. Actually, I'm not a fan at all. It's not that I don't like him but he's just one of those...existing characters like Ino or something. I really don't care about the Uchihas.

He is a genius gone nuts. You would think a genius should feel blessed and lead a good life, but I guess Kishi is trying to make that point. Does he have a motive to be part of Akatsuki if it'd been mentioned somewhere, i cant recall(please dont give me speculation)?

Blind Itachi would be the saddest thing of all, in this sense he is cursed, not blessed. For the whole clan, the sharingan is indeed a curse.

Itachi is mysterious, powerful and hasnt appeared to have aged over the past what 10 years.

If it is an Itachi, Naruto,Sasuke thing i would say:
Al is killed by Naruto and then Itachi is left.He who destroyed his clan wants Sasuke to kill him and rid him of the curse, once Itachi is dead Sasuke will try kill himself because he has no goal now, but Naruto steps in and gets killed and before death he tells Sasuke he still has a life with friends and with Sakura and the manga ends.

now that would be dramatic.

some people have theories that Itachi is actually blind right now.

Sasuke = Fag and should die painfully
Itachi = Misterius and interesting

I hate Sasuke, SO SO SO SO SO MUCH, but I guess thats why he will become the anti hero later on, how? probably Oro will take over and Naruto will have to kill him, best friends my ass

Naruto = should move on and leave those 2 idiots behind, marry Hinata and become the 6 Hokage
