Anime isn't "slow" is just the same freakin pace that the manga is.
Manga just happen to be chapters ahead.


What you think if someone come asking:

"Did Naruto finish his jutsu"
"Sasuke killed deidara"
"Do you know who AL is???"

And you can't asnwer any of thoses.. so for that the Manga is slow too????

The manga is definately slow. I wait for that every week and it seems like they show like one or two attacks. The Manga definately moves at around the same pace as the anime. .. I am pretty sure with InuYasha and the Previous Naruto (I just heard this not intirely sure) that they used 4 Manga chapters for 1 episode of Anime. Now with the new naruto they use 1 Manga for 1 Anime. That is crazy because if you dont count those advertisements, the cover and ending. There is only 15 pages of manga. So basically they are taking 15 pictures and making a 20 minute show out of them.

yes its like 1 episode per manga chapter. i say its slow, i didnt really like this episode of just them jumping around and talking kinda off puting. i am kinda hoping that the anime but bits of Naruto's wind training ? i hope they do, i dont want to be watching naruto just trying to cut a whole leaf in half in a few episodes and progress no were

The pace is something that really puts me off too. The original Naruto anime was fast paced and exciting (multiple manga chaps to an episode). The only reason the pace has been turned down so much is because they don't have to have like 3 seasons of filler like before.

But, personally, I'd like it return to the old pace because the anime is downright boring now. No good music, slow plot, slow fights...Its really disappointing. I doubt we would catch up to the current chaps very quickly if the producers even started to do 2 chaps per ep.

Aside from the pace of the anime, the new music is boring. I loved the old Naruto music. But the new music is slow and boring to match the new pace of the anime. Its very depressing.

Seems like people can only complain.
If they use several chapters for one episode people will complain, when we end up in filler land again.

And if the take it slow to prevent that, people complain about that.

True true. I know what I am doing is annoying. Doesn't prevent me from being annoyed though.
Only reason I bother annoying others with this crap because the original anime used to be one of my favorites.

i saw someone saying something about not dropping but after i watched 15 i really stopped watching! JUMP AND JUMP AND JUMP WE GO! things are extremely slow and boring, well bleach had Yoruichi eat 1 whole minute in 114 too, thats long but its not as boring as Naruto Shippuuden. it's like they're trying to conserve 3 years worth of Naruto chapters:P Naruto Fillers were too random thats why people complained so much.

I noticed a major gaffe in this episode. When Naruto is running out ahead of the others and Chiyo asks Kakashi why he's getting so worked up over Gaara, Kakashi tells her he's the jinchuuriki of the kyuubi, startling Chiyo. Which is how it was in the manga.

Except several episodes earlier (I think it was somewhere in 12, but I can't find the exact scene) Chiyo revealed she already knew Naruto was the kyuubi through her own sources. Which was a change Pierrot made to the anime, but apparently forgot about. Which is downright EMBARRASING. If they're going to make random changes and stick in original material, they should at least make sure they remember where they left it. It's amazing what you'll stub your toes against if you wander around barefoot in the dark, metaphorically speaking...

And yeah, the anime has completely gone to shit. It's almost at the point where I'm actually missing the filler- sure it was almost all crap, but at least it was new stuff and you didn't know what was going to happen until you watched it (and there was more NaruHina than in the actual series itself!) With Shippuuden, you KNOW what's going to happen in advance (assuming you've read the manga) but it happens at such a GLACIAL pace that you're frankly bored shitless by it. I was looking forward to these fights, but now that I've considered that they'll probably take until episode 30-35 to resolve, I'm not so thrilled about it. The last straw is how utterly cheap the animation has become. I can only hope they're saving their money for the big action scenes like what's coming up. I they don't render Sasori's 'Iron Sand' attacks properly, I think I'll kill them while I'm in Japan next month...

I don't mind the new soundtrack though. OK, the opening sucks, but what else is new? I like the Akatsuki theme at least, very moody.

I also agree with Arcane Azmadi on opening even some filler openings were better...
